Day 9: What is the worst thing about studyblr?

Honestly the aesthetics discourse, if you wanna make pretty notes then do it, if you're not good at it that's fine neither am I. The most important thing here is that we're all learning.

although i have a lot of assignments coming up, i’m excited to work on them! they’re super interesting ahhh i love my major :)

17.10.2020 // i definitely miss going to outdoor cafés with my bestie and enjoying some delish half-melted ice cream :( but, i drove to her part of the city yesterday and we went for a walk - it completely recharged my batteries, 100/10 would recommend

This is just some of the post-it note stories I’ve written in the last five weeks of uni.

staying home and trying less to be hyper productive and more to enjoy the process of having aesthetic noets and just, drinking some coffee, man. Don’t beat yourselves up for not being hyper productive. We’ve all had six months of our lives cancelled (for some of us), and some have had major disruptions to life that we need to come to terms with. Trust me guys, a PANDEMIC is enough of an excuse to just kick back for a bit, do nothing, take care of yourselves, process stuff, cope.

q: do your sleeping habits change during the summer?

a: yes! except for the times i’m actively trying to fix my sleep schedule–which works for about two weeks–i go to bed and wake up a lot later than i do during the school year. last night, i went to bed at 5:30–the time at which i’d usually wake up for school.

1. monday, august 24: what classes are you taking?

intro to african american music, intro to international studies, second year german, plants & the environment, and world history post-1945! history and african american music are my favorites so far - for my music class part of our homework is to spend a lot of time on spotify (nina simone, jimi hendrix, and otis redding, for example)!!
