Study Hard, Be Gay

Today I went to the birthday party of one of my friends! We had a picknick and got Korean food afterwards. I got to meet some of his friends, and also got some sewing done while I was there. Other than that not a very productive day, but they don't all have to be. Hanging out with friends and enjoying the summer in a park was great :)

I went to study and work o some assignments from a mall today because i needed a change of scenery. I don’t know why, but sometimes about shopping malls helps me focus on my work. Maybe all the chaos around me makes me want to just look at my screen and work.

17.07.26 🥯 such a stressful week but it's over now. the interview for the phd position went just ok but i got another invitation from another uni and i hope to hand in my thesis the week after the next. things are moving so quickly I NEED A MINUTE

Master's thesis work is getting serious these days... I have until late September! Also hanging out with lovely people in my free time <3

Today I've relocated to a branch library with AC to escape the heat. Plans for the rest of the day, let's see how many of these I'll actually get to:

Pick out recipe to bring to a house party tomorrow (going to make olive oil, rosemary and chocolate shortbread from Ella Risbridger's substack)

Today I went to see a friend :) We hung out and cooked pasta.

In the past few days I kinda forgot to post, partially because I've been having little mental breakdowns about some social stuff in my life. Not relevant to this blog though, so I will not be getting into that right now.

We had a really great thunderstorm on Wednesday!! We haven't had many in quite a while so I was super excited :D

Other than that, I've had a productive few days (except for today which was a dedicated friend hangout day). I've been cleaning my room and studying and making progress with the student housing organisation. I have an appointment on Monday for the organisation to get to know me, so hopefully I'll hear more by then about when I can expect to be able to move out by. Exciting!
