I had a meeting with my dissertation supervisor earlier this week and we’ve agreed that it’s time to start writing, which is terrifying, and I don’t feel ready, but it is also really good to see a plan for the next few months take shape.

So today really hasn’t been as productive as I would’ve hoped… I’m really not doing well mentally at the moment, but I hope to get over this hurdle soon - apologies for appearing so negative… 😔

Here’s what I’ve managed to do: • read lots of sections of a couple of books • lots of piano practice • lots of chemistry work - PPQs etc. • lots of maths questions - exponentials, mech • review my music essay and planning for a timed 45min version after checking an intro • quite a bit of decent cello practice • order uni prospectuses and looking at different courses… this also included starting to narrow down a list of Oxford colleges that I want to look at in more detail • organise my folders at start work on doing notes for parts without them in neat (etc.) (particularly focusing on biology)

Tonight, I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to get much (if any) sleep as I’m really not doing too well at the moment, so I plan to continue organising, do some light note-taking and maybe complete some additional work… as well as relaxing a bit of course…
