Reblogging again to remind people that the people of Iran are human and maybe we shouldn’t go to war with them. Just a suggestion.
I just read this on twitter…
This post needs to be shared, on newspapers, and in all the blogs.
ok points
but America is still better than Iran lol
This post wasn’t about “who was better than who” it’s asking for people not to dehumanize people who you’ve been told are less than you because they live in a different country and their culture is different from yours. Because turns out, they’re not that different from you at all. To imply that either one of these nations is better than the other is to ignore what the message was about. There are people suffering, and people still want to say “but America is still better-“ BUT AMERICA NOTHING. Stop playing games these are real people suffering at the hands of American “soldiers” who are nothing more than “bodies on the ground” to our government. But America nothing! It’s covering up the damage they’ve done, and theres too much information out there to be saying stuff like this. But. America. Nothing.

20 lessons for 2020
2019 has been a pretty challenging year for me. I started it being scared and anxious about everything, and I ended it single, with new career goals and surrounded by my best friends. Here are 20 lessons (100% tested and approved) that I learned along the way!
1. People only show their best sides to you but you would be amazed by how many people share the same feelings as you
2. If you feel like you can’t be yourself around a certain group of people, then you’re hanging out with the wrong group
3. Notice people who make you feel energized and happy VS people who drain all your energy. It’ll change your life.
4. You don’t need to justify yourself when you say « no » to something
5. However, you should say yes more often to spontaneous proposals and experiences
6. Honesty is a sign of respect
7. If you don’t give your 100% to something then you’ll be less likely to get that 100% back
8. Choose flaws over qualities. Your dream job also consists in not-so-dreamy parts, and this is what you should consider when choosing your career. The same applies with friends/lovers.
9. The person you sit in front of at the library can become one of your best friends (true story for me)
10. 99% of the scenarios you imagine in your head will never happen
11. Changing starts within YOUR thoughts and how you react to them.
12. Just because you’re offended it doesn’t mean that you’re right
13. Keep a critical eye to everything you hear/see.
14. Being vulnerable is a sign of strenght and not a sign of weakness
15. You can cope with a lot more than you think
16. Your life can totally change in a year and you can be a whole different person only if you’re willing too
17. Cherish what you already have in your life, happiness lies in gratitude
18. Wanting to be perfect for others will only make you seem a boring and hypocrite person
19. The habits you adopt now will define the person you’ll be in the future
20. Be curious. Read books, listen to podcasts, travel (even in your country), and talk to new people

Wow, haven’t been on Tumblr for over 2 years now xD~ I’ve no idea if people are still following me here; migrated to other social medias by now like me xD;;. I didn’t really just want to leave it like this though.
I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 fibrosis sarcoma cancer, and the doc thinks I got about 1-1.5 years left. I guess I’m really here to kinda….leave my mark? These are just some of my work from the past few years I haven’t been uploading here :3
I’m more active on Twitter, Instagram and Patreon. Every bit of support helps <3. I’m not sure if I’m ever posting back here, but thank you guys so much for reading.
A friend once asked me how I manage to do my tasks so efficiently. I wrote a 500-word essay in 20 minutes. I finished my math homework and studied for a quiz in the half hour before morning assembly. I sleep at 9 pm on most nights. But how can I possibly achieve that?
I’ve seen people, even good students, check their phone every minute or two as they’re studying. I’ve seen students “study” for six hours straight, meaning taking down some notes then watching a YouTube video then reading their textbook then opening Instagram… you know what I mean.
My advice is to commit to whatever you’re doing. Not too long ago, another friend asked me, “Jo, do you ever get distracted at home?” to which I replied, “Distracted by what?” They told me about how they always have the urge to check their phones, talk to their friends, or get some food. I can’t say I never get distracted, but it very rarely happens to me because I focus on what I’m doing–and only what I’m doing. Here’s how:
1. During the time I allocate for working, I turn my phone to airplane mode (with WiFi switched off, of course). No messages or notifications will distract me from what I’m currently doing. Recently, though, I’ve left my phone on in case there’s anything important. There might an RMUN photoshoot tomorrow, or a Physics quiz, or a music showcase. I know myself well enough to know that I have the discipline to do nothing more than glance at the notification. However, if this isn’t true for you, then I suggest you keep your phone on airplane mode.
2. When I allocate time for relaxing, that’s all I do. No homework. No textbooks. No opening emails as they come. Just me and a good book or Photoshop or the piano or something. That way, I can satiate my thirst to relax within the half hour or so and not crave more when I start working
As for music, it’s been proven that music makes you less productive when trying to recall and absorb information (studying, in other words). Music only makes you happier when you’re doing things but not more productive.
By this, I don’t only mean which ones are most urgent, but which ones you can’t accomplish anywhere other than at home. For example, let’s say you have these three tasks: a) research about structural unemployment; b) write a poem with the theme of death; c) answer some questions about quantum physics; d) do a problem set about implicit functions; and e) memorize a set of chemical reactions. This is how I would do them:
Write the poem on the way to school. Maybe this is just because I like poetry. And because I can’t write when other people are around. I’d probably get a first draft done by the time I get home.
Do the research about structural unemployment. My school’s WiFi is terrible.
Answer the quantum physics questions. The new information is still fresh in my brain and doing the homework will help me revise, easing the process of spaced repetition.
Memorize the chemical reactions before I go to bed. Studying before you sleep is supposed to improve your memory, and since my memory is terrible, that’s exactly what I’ll do.
Do the implicit functions problem set as soon as I get to school the next morning. Math is undoubtedly my best subject, and it’s very refreshing to do math at 6:45 AM in the morning.
If you saw the pattern, I assigned each task a time slot when I would be most productive. I also did them from easiest to most difficult to the easiest again. Because everyone works differently, I suggest you find out which types of tasks are the most difficult (memorizing, in my case) and which types of tasks require a certain environment (e.g. requiring WiFi for doing research).
I guess that’s pretty much self-explanatory. I like to nap right after I get home from school if I’m feeling especially tired. As for breaks, I prefer to take them between tasks instead of every 25 minutes because of my high study inertia.
Commit to what you’re doing
Delegate and prioritize
Give yourself shorter deadlines
Take breaks!
And that’s it! Hope this guide to efficiency was helpful in some way. I do believe that by following these four steps, you can accomplish all your tasks in a much shorter amount of time. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to drop me an ask!
Read this and save a life - YOUR OWN
From a surgical nurse and certified CPR teacher:
Please pause for 2 minutes and read this:
1. Let’s say it’s 7.25pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.
2. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated.
3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.
4. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.
5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy who taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!
10. A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we’ll save at least one life.
11. Rather than sending jokes, please... contribute by forwarding this mail which can save a person’s life.
12. If this message comes around you... more than once… please don’t get irritated... You should instead, be happy that you have many friends who care about you & keeps reminding you how to deal with a Heart attack.
please take the time and boost this post by reposting it and sending it to those you love because we all need to understand how to quickly deal with heart attacks

I've already seen discourse on Twitter about Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend bc apparently, 46 ISN'T age appropriate for a 55 year old man or something and I'm starting to think some people don't understand the discussion about age gap relationships....it's not about age gaps themselves, it's about adults dating people who aren't adults (usually teenagers). But also, 46 and 55 is age appropriate jfc
Yeah bruh it's not the actual gap ffs people, it's the age gap RELATIVE TO THE PEOPLE'S AGES
Let's see some examples:
3 year gap between a 15 and 18 year old: BAD. ILLEGAL. FUCKED UP.
3 year gap between a 30 and 33 year old: they're practically the same age
10 year gap between a 25 and 35 year old: hmm kinda weird, might let it slide, but no.
10 year gap between a 60 and 70 year old: yeah trust me you're good.
9 year gap between a 20 and a 29 year old: let me put this into perspective, person A could be in their second year of college and person b graduated 7 years before. That's weird and they're at INFINITELY different stages in life.
9 year gap between a 46 year old and a 55 year old: they're both middle aged, they're both at the same stage in life, they've probably both have had some sense of stability for a while now and probably no wildly violent life changes like high school/college/first job/first partner have happened in a while. It's FINE.
I know a lot of young teens who don’t understand this. :/
i really needed this when i was 13 and dating a 17 year old
trust me lovelies it's for the best
they aren't doing it in your interest, not really x

Can we just talk about how useful this is but also how happy that dog is to be teaching us something. Look at that tail wag. Thank you puppy.
This dog is a not just any dog - it’s a Belgian Malinois. They are often used as guard and attack dogs because they have EXTREMELY high drive, an exceptional work ethic, and are widely considered the best working dogs for military and police forces. The pup above is well-trained and yes - he absolutely LOVES his job.
Bringing this back because this could come in handy if a police officer wrongfully sets their dogs on someone.
