The side where two people in normal beach wear hugging each other is deemed inappropriate, while the "what's hot" main recommendation is currently chucking two explicit pornographic photographs of random ladies at me that I am fairly certain have been posted by the accounts in question without the knowledge or the consent of the depicted people, given the respective accounts post a lot of softcore porn of a lot of different people without credit to anyone.

This video would've made me so happy to see fucckkkk. Even just the pic of him in this screenshot gives me hope.

can we please please please learn to differentiate between things that are good but devalued because of their association with women (caring for children, being compassionate), things that are neutral but seen negatively because of their association with women (the colour pink, having long hair), and things that are bad but associated with women because of misogyny (being materialistic, being stupid) because otherwise we’re gonna keep getting takes like “being gender nonconforming is anti feminist” and “not studying for your classes is feminist”

personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist
