It’s terribly sad that it honestly shouldn’t have taken any deaths to make a change, given how many drivers have warned FIA about that corner, but now it’s two and it’s like Lance said, not fair.

I really hope they listen to the drivers and that FIA doesn’t use this interview or others as a petty way to get back at any driver who speaks out.

So when he outqualifies Fernando its quiet and barely anyone mentions it. When he finishes ahead of Fernando it's "why didn't y'all switch places he has more points in the championship?" Like I do not understand what people want from Lance? This has annoyed me so much like what do you want from him???? He's damned if he succeeds, damned if he doesn't.

Every fucking year it's the same, calling for him to replaced after 2 bad races which weren't even his fault.

He went into the season without testing and two broken wrists. He had a DNF while he was running fourth. The DNF was a mechanical issues where he could have done nothing different.

In Miami his qualy was fucked because the team made a wrong strategy call. And still he made places up and would have gotten lucky had there been any chaos. But it's a fucking dog shit circuit that rarely allows any overtakes.

And yesterday his qualy was once again fucked by no fault of his own (having damage from running over debrief) and it's Monaco. If there's even 2 positions made up there it's an interesting races. Not to mention the fact that he got fucked in the first part of the race with damage and just had the ultimate luck with the front wing later.

I truly do not understand how hard it is to grasp that Lance is still a good driver and would be closer had it not been for bad luck. There's no way to save anything after qualy in Monaco. If you are out of the top 10 you will finish out of the top 10. That track allows no action.

Of course he will be better and actually make up positions, get points etc. once we come back to actual tracks that allow racing. Hell had Miami and Monaco been in any place like say Suzuka there's no doubt in my mind Lance would have at least recovered to P10 because those tracks actually allow overtaking.

Points do not actually reflect a drivers talent, I thought we established that a long time ago.

I truly do not get the hate after this start when he probably had the worst start of everyone to the season.

Do people just forget the speculation that his first race might have been Melbourne after his injury?
