Omg
So my stripper wifey came into the stage after me; I handed my good luck charm to her (a turtle) for her to kiss, and she handed me hers (a Buddha) to kiss.
A customer noticed and asked, âwhat the fuck was that about?â
She just said: âstrippers are superstitious af. Boos share good vibes.â
Best description of strippers ever.
Iâve never meat a stripper who wasnât superstitious đ
Iâm only a little stitious... but once a girl told me it was bad luck to pick up your wallet if you drop it by accident and I have never picked mine up myself lmao
I'm 19 and I'm seriously considering working at one of my local clubs. Do you have ONE crucial tip you'd give a baby stripper?
I think it just boils down to thinking and going all into the job without being distracted. You really have to think about if this is what you want. Regardless of your future plans, if you get murdered even if youâre like a dentist at that point, theyâll call you a âformer stripperâ like youâll be that forever. Regardless of how feel about ourselves and our profession there will always be people who use âstripperâ as a derogatory term. You probably canât in the current political climate be in politics. Hell theyâve fired teachers for being a stripper in their past (only women tho. Male stripper turned teacher equals worlds sexiest teacher apparently đ) So just really consider if you can handle that
Then, if you can just go all in. Get the outfits. Get all the stripper shoes. Buy more makeup. Get really good at dressing. Do pole classes. Or learn in your free time at the club. Do your nails. Hair. Lashes. Every shift. Jump in. Talk to every customer. Find common ground and flirt. Relish in how hot you are while making the conversation about them. Itâs an exciting job. Itâs so fun. Really get into it. Just donât get distracted by men who say they can help you make more (aka pimps) donât get distracted with drugs or over drinking. (A shot if youâre nervous is one thing but if you haaave to be intoxicated to do the job then itâs not for you)
Thatâs a lot more than one thing but đ¤ˇđťââď¸ I donât think you canât boil it down to one thing haha
So I just started dancing and Iâve started in a very âhoodâ club where the dances are 5 dollars and niggas are stingy with that . I work at this club because herein atl a lot of the popular clubs where the money is require a permit and Iâm trying to pay off my bills first . I look at some other dancers around me that are making good money and some that are not. After a night of hard work I leave with $100 . Can you give me some tips on how to get more money? Cause I know itâs possible.
Well. As long as management isnât on your ass, You could make deals. So when someoneâs like âwhatâs a dance go for?â You can say one basic dance is 5, 15 minutes for x, and 30 minutes for y. Giving a small discount or ripping them off depending on your mood and if theyâre drunk. Or just go straight to the deal prices and donât even mention the 5$ ones. But if thatâs not welcome in your club maybe try a different one nearby that doesnât require a license? Go like an hour-2 outside the city if you have to.
My club is also pretty straight forward in terms of âone dance is 20â and thatâs it so Iâm not sure if Iâd be the best help here
Uhhmm you could also really put like your all into outfit decisions and makeup and hair. I always need a cohesive look or I feel sloppy. Tends to put me apart from other girls who are similar to me
That last paragraph though is key advice. It takes me like 3 hours to get ready for work, but based on locker room chatter I always do better than most.
^^^ I get ready for at least 2 hours. And thatâs after Iâve already planned out my outfits for the weekend
Ask for tips. Look hot and straight up say $10 dances but make them better than other girls.
Yes if youâre doing more tricks and shit than the other girls make sure you charge more
When rad fems, or anyone against sex work say things like âmen only see you as a fuck toyâ âthey donât respect youâ âtheyâre using youâ
Ummmm
âŚWhat makes you think this only exists in sex work? Men who hate women hate women. This is something that exists across the board. A man who disrespects sex workers would just as quickly disrespect you or your mom or sister. They simply have easier access to sex workers, and they know many people wonât stick up for us.
If anything, sex work should be a perfect example of what men will do if given the opportunity, and is a really scary reflection of our society.
We need to start holding men accountable for their actions, so that all women, sex workers or not, are safe.
Sex work is the strongest form of agency*
Change my mind. Too bad you canât
*unless thereâs trafficking or pimps involved

So lately Iâve been really thinking about becoming a stripper. I have another night job but Iâve still been really tight on money. I talked to my boyfriend of 2 years/baby daddy about it and he doesnât want me to start. How should I go about it? I really want to start and Iâve done so much research about the clubs out here, shoes, etc..
A friend of mine says sheâs love to come up with me... if it werenât for her boyfriend. Itâs often an issue of trust. If he trusts that youâre faithful and stripping is just a job in the entertainment field then whatâs the problem? Especially if the both of you are tight on money. It shouldnât be a last resort but the money is good. Especially when you start.
If not, break up with him and start stripping, rake in the money, make him feel bad then get in a committed loving relationship with real trust and no judgement
So I'm seriously considering becoming a stripper but I'm worried about having to be on stage. I'm fine with doing lap dances, but I don't like the idea of being in front of a whole crowd. If/when I get into it, is it mandatory for me to dance on stage or can I just stay on the floor and do lap dances?
Different club different rules. At mine you have to pay to not do it. Although some nights itâs dead and you end up not going on anyway
And honestly focusing on one customer at a time can make it less intimidating to be up there. I love the attention on stage but if thatâs not your gig really try to make it your own. If youâre good with lap dancing, maybe try just staying on the ground and making eye contact with someone and move your hips and ass like youâre doing a dance?
Maybe?
Or take pole classes and use on stage to practise moves and donât look at anyone haha
Hey so idk if you'd know but possibly you could direct me? Im a stripper in my home country (currently at war so work here is pretty dead) and wanted to relocate maybe temporarily until the situation here gets better. What are good places to dance at that can help with visa or are foreigner friendly?
I have no idea. I donât move around much but I will say being able to contact owners and managers through the internet is a huge asset. Email, Facebook, LinkedIn, or dm a club and ask about the hiring process.
Anyone experienced in work traveling is welcome to join in
hi, iâm a baby stripper thatâs still thinking of how to sell her brand. how can i come up with a good persona?
Well in my experience, unless youâre a class act actress, your persona is you. Honing in on it can be a lil tricky though so some questions to think about in developing your presence could be,
What is it about you that makes you desirable. Why are men attracted to you. Why should they be attracted to you. What type of men are you noticing youâre attracting? Are they white collar or blue collar? Are they educated? What attributes do you notice in the customers that tend to vibe with you.
Are you presenting dominantly or submissively? Are you smiling a lot or are you focused? Glasses or no? Hiding your tum or showing off your body. Do you think youâre cute? Or sexy? Or endearing? Intimidating? A little awkward? Lean into traits you find appealing in yourself
I have a working theory on the types of strippers essentially working down to four categories but thatâs a whole separate post
Hope this helps!

i feel like every stripper has the same little old woman inside us whoâs like older than time and has been Done for 5,000 years
Sometimes I wanna be party-wig, bedazzled, pastel bra girl and sometimes I wanna be jet black hair, pale skin, red lingerie girl and I canât decide. I know I should probably pick one and stick to it so I can get more regulars instead of being the âguess whoâ girl every weekend, but I canât help it đ
I donât wear wigs so I canât quite relate but like different vibes for different days man. Like âoh you come in on tuesdays so you never see Saturday meâ is a vibe I get
