this is exactly how i feel like i was on here for years before she followed me and went extremely long stretches without her interacting at all even after she did and honestly it changed nothing? i just really liked feeling her connecting with other people and seeing what she was liking and what she was thinking and how she cared. and now it feels liek it’s gone, and also like she can’t win, because people are acting like her being on here is a branding/marketing lie, but her being gone is her abandoning us. if she was only on here for marketing, she’d still be here. if she wasn’t hurt, she wouldn’t have left. they’re contradictory. 

Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with
