WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU HEARD THE NEWS:
I was taking a calculus test and i finished second so me and the other person were just on our phones and she texted me saying “THE QUEEN IS DEAD” and i scramble to look it up and LO AND BEHOLD. I had to stay silent and not freak out because everyone else was taking the test so we were just texting back and forth and mouthing things across the room in shock.
BUT we have a british student in our class. She was taking the test peacefully. I didn’t want to break the news to her. The second that bell rang, i said “[name]. The queen is dead.” Shes like “no. You’re lying” and then we hear shouts from the hallway
“THE QUEEN”
“THE QUEEN IS DEAD”
“REALLY?!”
She had a rough day after that 😭

So im new to tumblr like i just downloaded it but ive been a “‘[insert fandom] tumblr posts’ on safari” user for years so like ive been aware of lingo but not knowing?
