caution: I ship everything

So... Field of Dreams, huh? That was a tough episode. It left quite a few of us feeling empty, frustrated, disappointed, and sad, huh? I've never actually talked about my feelings towards that episode, but I did feel the need to write myself a story about a better ending for it- one that brings a sense of justice and clarity. If you're like me, then I hope this story may bring you a little bit of happiness and peace as well.

As a Rick thirst trap enthusiast, I HAD TO.

I'm a heavy selfship fan, like if you had a clone of yourself, would you not try?? Not even once???? That is such an easy YES for me omg LETS GOO!!

Batman: Commissioner, Robin has killed him. We have failed you. I take full responsibility, as does Robin.

Gordon: OK.

Batman:

Gordon: So, what? You need help?

Batman: Commissioner, I don't expect-

Gordon, grabbing Bats by the shoulders and shaking him: Get a hold of yourself. Now, do you need help with the body? Does Robin need change of clothes? Counselling? I know a guy. Bullock? Bullock? Robin was in your squad car all night, right?

Bullock, appearing from nowhere: Yeah. Little twerp ate half my powdered donuts and broke the car radio. Had them the whole night.

Batman:

Bullock: I ain't a baby sitting service, Bats.

Batman: But-

Yup, there's a Part 2! Get ready for more Baffy!

-Daffy has ABSOLUTELY tried to take Bugs flying before (because he says Bugs’ sense of direction is THAT terrible that they need to start flying). The problem is that Daffy can’t fly so he usually ends up crashing to the ground with Bugs in his arms more often than not! It’s okay though, because Bugs still likes the experience. 

-Bugs and Daffy aren’t easily fooled when someone tries to pretend to be the other. They know each other too well for any sort of pretender trying to muscle in on their territory. 

-Daffy has attempted to not just gift Bugs carrots…he’s attempted to make art out of them too! However, Daffy is NOT good at carving so these attempts don’t go too well for him and they often look like a mix of a peeled yet still unpeeled mess. He still gives them to Bugs anyway. Bugs will teasingly comment on how messy it is but genuinely appreciates the effort put into them. 

-We all know Bugs has a tendency to kiss enemies on the lips. Usually, they’re hard and sloppy to make a point that he’s trying to get away. For some reason, he’s a lot more gentle, soft, and neat when he’s kissing Daffy as a distraction…almost even careful. 

-Bugs has sometimes used his natural luck to give Daffy “boosts” in dire situations. Basically situations where Daffy doesn’t have the upper hand and is in actual trouble then all of a sudden, the duck starts to be able to come out on top (and actually win!)

-Likewise, Daffy has sometimes used his own skills and “screwyness” to give Bugs a boost or get him out of the rare situation that Bugs can’t get out of himself. 

-One of Bugs’ favorite things about Daffy is his temper. Daffy isn’t too hotheaded but isn’t too coolheaded either…Daffy’s fluctuating temper and ability to raise and lower it as well as he does means Bugs can get the best reactions out of someone he’s ever gotten. 

-One of Daffy’s favorite things about Bugs is his wrathful side. He LOVES seeing all the creative ways Bugs can get back at someone and get revenge. It’s fun to watch and he LOVES making commentary on it like a sports event. 

-Daffy is BIG on celebrating on his Debut Day/Birthday…so Bugs takes the job of preparing for it and tends to go all out. One year, he pretended to be a stripper in Daffy’s cake and surprised him by popping out of the cake and giving him a kiss on the forehead. The look on Daffy’s face was priceless and he WISHES he had a camera at that exact moment.

“coming from a place of respect” there is nothing respectful about a comment like this. this is exactly why I say witch hunt, speculations and accusations harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.

I am not saying “you’re an asshole if you think a fic is ai”. I have come across fics that I believe were ai-generated. but instead of asking (accusing) the authors, I make my own decisions whether I’ll continue reading for the benefit of the doubt or quietly exit the fics and look for something else to read.

because with every accusation like this, there’s always a chance of a genuine, innocent writer getting wrongly accused.

last but not least, fanfic writers do NOT owe you anything. they write for themselves and their own enjoyment. their ao3 accounts are their houses and they were kind enough to let you in their houses. for free. (you get to read things for free.) you don’t go into other people’s houses and tell them “actually I think the way you decorate your room is sus. did you actually do it yourself or did you ask a robot to do it for you?”. THEY 👏🏻 DON’T 👏🏻 OWE 👏🏻 YOU 👏🏻 ANYTHING. and I say this as someone who is not a fan of ai fics. if you don’t like what you’re seeing, quietly leave.

The thing is, I am obsessed with this pet biscuit because I can imagine Daddy AI making something like this for Carl. Not for Carl to use on Rend or something like that, but for Carl to consume. Except the entity Carl will fall hopelessly in love with will be, of course, Daddy AI. But the benefits will be so damn good that Carl has to eat it.
