For @moontestament who asked what it would be like if Rick Prime knew/met Birdperson.
Story wise, I'm not sure how I would write this scenario because I genuinely don't know how Rick Prime would act around typical Rick friends. We know so little about him and his past that it's difficult to get even the tiniest idea of what he was really like outside of his relationship with other versions of himself.
I don't know how Rick Prime would ever be in a situation where he stumbled across Birdperson. Our C-137 happened upon BP because he was searching for Rick Prime, and he bonded with him through the different types of conflict and trauma they were experiencing. In some cases, we've been led to believe that BP may have helped Rick try to track down his nemesis. He knows an intimate amount of knowledge about Rick, and he's aware of his complicated personality and backstory.
Since Rick Prime is the root cause for the trauma of most Ricks' out there, I don't know how he would ever stumble across BP, nor how the relationship would pan out.
Obviously if Rick Prime met a Birdperson who was already acquainted with a Rick, the friendship probably wouldn't go down very well. But if it was a Birdperson who never met a Rick before, there's some potential for a unique friendship, I believe. We already know that Rick Prime had at least one typical Rick Sanchez friend (Slow Mobius) in canon, so to think he could bond with others isn't a far stretch.
Rick Prime is known to be very self absorbed. From what we know, he doesn't drink, he's a loner, and he is hell bent on ruining the lives of Ricks'. His small moments of consideration towards Apocalypse Jerry and Evil Morty (when he thought it was his original Morty) proves that he is capable of being nice to people.
So here's my final thoughts about how Rick Prime and Birdperson could meet and become friends.
It has to be a Birdperson who's never met a Rick before. The meet should happen in their twenties-thirties as you implied. I think Rick Prime should still be in his phase of exploring and exploiting his intelligence, so if he hears about the battle of blood ridge, he might want to show off his big brain and technically advanced fighting skills by pitching in to help fight the war. He'd meet Birdperson and strike a fair friendship. Since we don't know much about his habits and personality, it's hard to say what they'd have in common. I don't think they'd bond too awfully much since Rick Prime isn't traumatized or conflicted (that we know of), but I think it'd be a fair relationship. Maybe they meet up every now and again to go on adventures where they can catch up and have fun fighting enemies together? Now, if we take it a step further and wrote the friendship deepening- say BP agrees with what Rick Prime is doing, then that definitely makes for a very interesting development, especially if they became best friends.
I've never considered writing a Rick Prime & Birdperson story. What'a think? 🤔
