currently! the only single character position currently taken is high inquisitor for the heralds ^^

currently, there aren’t any canon characters. and players are free to create characters of any rank in a faction, aside from limited or single character only positions (like faction leaders) that have already been taken. 

hiya anon! #1: those are definitely the two most common outcomes, and definitely for anyone actually landing on and exploring orcus, but a very slim minority aren’t affected, and that number increased where exposure to artifacts and the like are concerned. #2: that definitely makes sense! it’s more than possible, and in fact was the case with the original members of ouroboros until they engineered the invasion ^^ 

it’ll most likely be some time around late afternoon/early evening (EST) tomorrow!

to try and limit the information overload, technology is mostly going to be at members’ discretion (within reason), though a few specific pieces of tech will be covered on the class perks list ^^ and aside from automatons, there are servile robots that exist, but they’re non-sentient and non-playable.

nope, that’s one we haven’t answered yet! relationships between different species definitely occurs and is generally not treated as anything out of the ordinary by most, but they aren’t able to reproduce with one another, with the exception of vesperforms, who can have offspring with other members of the same species as the body they’re occupying, but their kids will just be ordinary members of the parents’ physical species - they can’t inherit any vesperform traits.
