Which music genre would best describe your Inquisitor?
Metal! |m| 2-Handed Qunari Reaver... yeah. The kind of metal though where you headbang to a badass song, and then when it is over, you look around with a goofy grin on your face.
Do they have a background story?
Yas! Herrah grew up Tal-Vashoth in Tvinter- not a great place. Her family was always on the move, always dealing with Vints and Qunari alike. Many of her friends were warriors, trying to defend their way of life, but her family knew it was not a safe place to stay. They were on their way, trying to get out of the region when they got attacked by Vints. Herrah managed to get away, but they were on her tail. She broke off her horns, so she could cover her face with a helmet. She rode into Ferelden in the back of a wagon, and nobody was the wiser to her true nature.
What’s your Inquisitor’s opinion on each of the various races, if any?
The lack of distinctive horns has driven a larger wedge between her and the average Qunari. She tends to dig in deeply in her identity as a Tal-Vashoth because of it, though the attitude is a cover for how isolated she feels from the rest of her race.
She thinks elves are weird. Mysticism doesn’t interest in her, and she doesn’t think their obsession with their own history is very practical. She does empathize with city elves, growing up in a similarly disadvantaged situation. She gets along great with Sera, regarding elves. Also, a bit ironic that she drank Mythal’s elf soup, but her reasoning was a) well, I already got one god I don’t believe in stake a claim on me, nbd if I get another and b) no way in hell am I letting the shifty mage drink it.
Herrah thinks Dwarves are fun and tiny. I don’t think she’s really dealt with Dwarf culture proper, so the surface dwarves she’s met are extremely diverse. She can’t really blame them for not wanting to live underground, and figures they’re a bit like dwarf version of tal-vashoth.
She has mixed feelings about humans. Orleisians are up their own ass. Instinctively, she doesn’t like Tvinter and doesn’t like mages, because those were the people she grew up in conflict with. The people of Ferelden are her bros.

5 and 10!
5) If your Inquisitor was a force of nature, what kind would they be? (hurricane, earthquake, etc.)
Tornado. It takes perfect conditions to create one, and once formed, they wreak havoc for generally short bursts of time. However, the damage done in that short amount of time can be trivial or catastrophic. It fits Natia perhaps a little too well.
10) Do they have any family?
Natia has a younger brother named Kaelan, and of course there’s her father and mother. She had an older brother as well, but he died in a terrible accident partly her fault. His name was Bastion.
I will absolutely enable you. 7, 11, 14.
7 - Which element best describes them?
Hmm… this is weirdly hard to answer. I think fire? She is very impulsive, and easily swayed by passion or her friends. She doesn’t have a lot of patience for bullshit, and takes slights personally. Edit: also, REAVER.
11 - Are they better with children, animals, or neither?
I think Herrah is better with animals. She is pretty rough-and-tumble, doesn’t mind getting dirty. They are simple, and don’t have an ulterior motives. I don’t think she would be bad with kids, but she has rarely had a chance to be around them, since she was part of a mercenary group for years.
14 - Do they have any hobbies?
Herrah is kind’ve a jock. She likes jousting and, if there is a DA equivalent of caber toss, she’d be into that too. She likes crafting armors, putting a lot of effort into making artful engravings and decorative pieces. She collects weird looking rocks.
Tarantism - The urge to overcome melancholy by dancing. Nell and Niall (doesn't have to be shippy).
Despite how large Eleanor’s estate was, sound carried deep into the hallways and rooms, breaking up the silence. Niall lounged sideways in one of the large, upholstered armchairs, lazily drawing a bowstring along an old fiddle (she had called it a violin, but Niall knew a fiddle when he saw one).
The stammered noise seemed to sing back to him as it echoed through the walls. The experimental notes started falling into place, bouncing cheerfully. Niall smiled, feeling the music against his chin. It almost felt like the room was full of people with drinks in their hand. He glanced up to see Nell poke her head in the study, leaning against the doorframe. She still wore an apron from working down in the lab. Seemed like music was enough of an excuse for a break.
Against her conscious will, Nell started tapping her foot. The engagement encouraged Niall like a crowd of applause. He swung his feet around to stand, and doubled the speed of his diddy. Nell hesitated, caught somewhere between discomfort and gratitude for a joyful tune. She resigned herself to the music, and clapped along in time, feeling the lightest she had felt in months.
