Never a dull moment with you, Punko.
(I was supposed to post this a week ago, before the new free ep of CB)
Following one of the most important events that happened in the Cinderella Boy storyline today, I just want to say this:
I always love how every episode of Cinderella Boy has atleast 2-3 climax type of parts in them. Parts that would make the fans talk, parts that would invoke theories, or art, any kind of creative response, or just screaming about how unexpected it was. What I'm saying is, I love how Punko never uses filler.
So even though we just witnessed the greatest point in the plot (that is, Chase meeting Nox in real life, EVERYONE REJOICE!!!), it's great that we still have so much to look forward to. They're on a saving montage now, people!!
Another thing is, out of the 2-3 climax type of parts, every single episode, atleast one of them is completely unexpected. By unexpected, I mean the previous plot had little signs of it happening, or the thumbnail didn't give us a clue.
For example, this is my idea of the main parts this episode:
Chase telling Ralph about the keys
Them throwing the Ex Libris spies off with Boris and Deacon's clothes
Chase FINALLY meeting Nox and Violet
The first two parts were almost completely unexpected. I mean, I'm sure a few of us expected Ralph to be involved soon, like me, but the Boris thing? Absolutely nobody could've guessed that. Also because we didn't even know the Ex Libris spies were still there.
That's what makes reading CB so enjoyable. Waiting a week is always worth it, because multiple things happen every episode that have huge relevance to the plot, character development or character interactions, and there's always something that makes your jaw drop.
Here are some examples from previous episodes, some visuals that I'm sure everyone went crazy over when they first saw them:

Now I'm gonna choose the episodes randomly and then show you the points in them.
(S2) Episode 44: The Best Laid Plans (II)
Chase enters a book to meet his father, because he feels like he can't talk to anyone else about Buddy betraying him
Nox and Violet's real plan with the keys
Nox reveals to Vi that he fancies Chase
(S2) Episode 34: Alice in Plunderland (IV)
A plot hole appears in the story that they're in
We got more Wave, Deacon and Prunella character interactions, which lead to their development through bond
Chase and Buddy both show their dislike to the annoying prince by BEATING HIM UP
(S2) Episode 22: Perfect Halo (IV)
Silver's made wings unexpectedly malfunction
Buddy is practically drooling at competitive Chase (we know what you are buds)
Deacon opens up a little to Wave for, technically the first time
(S2) Episode 11: Mister Mischief (III)
Buddy and Deacon sorta kinda getting along
Chase being protective of Pru in this insane environment
Deacon falling for the other princess immediatly
(S2) Episode 5: Party Crashers (V)
I don't think I need to explain, ahah
Buddy being confused as to why Chase wrote him out of the book
Prunella stopping the new guy and grabbing his key
And so on. I may make a post covering every chapter, S1 and S2, in this summarised style.
That's what makes CB so iconic. There's always atleast 3 scenes every chapter that makes people talk, lore relavent or heavily meme-able. And that's what keeps people clicking every week.
