I love summer so much!!
Ducktales Circus AU
I periodically get interested in circuses and/or magicians so this is the by product of that but this is what acts I think the Ducktales characters would do in the circus purely based on vibes
Webby: I feel like she’d do a strong man act or the thing where you throw knives at a spinning target. If it was the strong man act I feel like she would have learned/inherited it from Beakley
Lena: I think she’d do aerial acts like silks, lyra, or trapeze. She’d probably know some magic tricks or dabbled in tarot and stuff too but aerial acts would be her main thing
Violet: I think she’d be a fortune teller who believes in absolutely none of it and just interprets how people are feeling and forces cards and stuff but if there was actual magic she’d end up learning about it and reframing the entire way she does things
I also think a team magic trapeze act would be cool or literally any act with the three of them
Huey: I feel like he would be a magician, he would love learning all the tricks because even if they seem impossible to others they make perfect sense to him. If he saw someone else performing a trick he hadn’t seen before he’d end up thinking about it until he figured out how it worked
Dewey: if it’s a modern circus he’d do those bikes in cages, if not I can see him being a clown but he’d hate it when people are scared of clowns and it would probably hurt his ego a bit. I could also see him as a ringmaster, basically just anything that’s either dangerous or has a lot of attention on him or both
Louie: I feel like he’d do more behind the scenes stuff because Scrooge probably runs the circus so I can see him helping out a lot in that aspect but I could see him being a magician or escape artist too
When they were younger the triplets probably did a group act but as they got older they decided to go different ways with their acts
Scrooge: I feel like he’d own the circus and not really have an act, maybe he knows some things or did acts in the past but currently he just manages stuff from behind the scenes
Donald: him and Della used to do an act together but after Della went missing (or whatever equivalent in this au) he stopped performing for the most part except maybe refreshing his skills every so often
Della: again a duo act with Donald but I have no idea what it would be but if she did a solo act I feel like she’d be a human cannonball
Beakley: a strong man act, I really have nothing else for her it just feels like it fits
I don’t have any other ideas right now minus a few actual story ideas but, yeah, this is what you get when I mix my current interests together
Y'all think about how in "The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck", Scrooge must have realized that Donald and Della weren't the first and only twins he tore apart by his recklessness?
Because I feel like that's one of those things that become retroactively more clear the more you re-watch that.
The thing is, Donald got Della back.
Magica never found Poe again.

I rewatched Lena’s arc and finally watched the second half of season 3 and they had no right to do Poe this hot
Just realized that Huey duck would totally be into ARGs. He would have a nerdy crash out (/pos) getting to uncover different ciphers and puzzles lol
been thinking a LOT about @dellyduck ‘s gen swap au! its so good!!
I think they should’ve teamed up at least once

i dont think you guys understand how good i feel for being able to just… draw them. at ten drawing anything looked whack, obviously, but beaks are especially hard to draw. at fifteen it took me like four hours to draw one piece, and not even well. now i can just… 45 minutes and bam. not even an entire eddy burback video later and ive draw the triplets
woe, gay ducks be upon ye
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DON ROSA!
On this day in 1951, Keno Don Hugo Rosa, known as Don Rosa, was born in Louisville, Kentucky. From a young age, he has been drawing various things, especially superhero comics related to Marvel and DC, and then moved on to drawing his favorite characters from Disney, especially Donald, Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie and other characters from the Duckverse, more precisely from the Carl Barks comics universe. He also invented his own character Captain Kentucky where he published comic books under that name for a time. He will become more famous when he works for Disney comics from 1987 and when in 1992 he publishes a series of comics related to The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. From 1990 to 2008, he worked for Egmont comics (Danish edition of Disney comics). He even wrote and drew Ducktales comics (Ducktales 1987) and scripted the Talespin episodes, believe it or not. He retired in 2008 due to health reasons, but he certainly travels around the world and draws for his fans. It is generally more popular in Europe than in America. And yes, he is very unhappy with Disney's treatment of his comics. However, he received many awards.
Although he inherited a lot from Barks, Don Rosa still created his own Duckverse universe in which he showed more sensitivity in many characters than in other authors. He also wrote and drew comics related to the Three Caballeros. In his private life, he grows chilies. He had a wife, who unfortunately died last year. May his wife rest in peace. Amen.
Certainly, Don Rosa is one of my favorite writers and artists for Donald Duck comics and I am very grateful to him for the great comics he left behind. I wish him a happy 75th birthday and a long and healthy life and I hope that I may meet him in person one day. Thank you Don Rosa for these comics and the issues you left us!
And yes, his comics are not DUCKTALES nor DUCKTALES (especially the reboot version) is as close to his comics as anyone has claimed it to be, otherwise it is not.
Happy 75th birthday Don Rosa!
Here are pictures related to Don Ross, as well as pictures of him that he has drawn so far! If you're a Don Ross fan, feel free to like and reblog this! Happy birthday Don Rosa!

Can i request darkwing duck and paperinink interacting 🥹🥹
Sadly haven't read Paperinik yet, but i imagine their interaction going to something like this
Done with the girls' designs, but without headcanons yet. Not sure if I'm keeping this design, if I don't get bored of it, it'll stay.
