Scroldara is an au I’ve kept in my mind for years where Clara is present throughout all three back to the future movies but in a different way than I’ve seen done in other aus like this.

Basically it’s an au made to cater to me. I love ducktales, I love both shows + I’ve seen a little from the rest of the Disney afternoon block, and I collect Uncle Scrooge comics I find. I have a particular soft spot for Goldie in all her iterations. Now, you might think “what does this have to do with Doclara??” well scroldara is a mix of Scroldie and Doclara (hence the name)

Basically I took my favorite aspects of Scroldies dynamic and I took Doclara and I changed the circumstances around them to match Scroldie and it fell into place. I don’t want you to think Scroldara is just a cheap copy of another ship, by trying to fit the dynamic into the story of the movies it’s evolved into becoming very much its own thing.

Okay okay now that I’m done rambling some of the key changes (and reasoning) behind aspects of scroldara include:

Doc and Clara knowing each other for a really long time, thus being around the same age. The reasoning behind this is (one) I like drawing my favorite characters as kids and (two) I felt it would be interesting if they had each other growing up in a weird way

Clara not developing diphtheria kinda allowed her tomboyish, unruly and competitive nature to grow instead of forcing her into quarantine.

Their relationship is antagonistic in certain aspects. If you know ducktales you know this is like essential but basically they developed an academic rivalry as kids that never went away it just got long and confusing.

The overall plan that I’ve never completely mapped out for them throughout the movies is that Clara and Doc had a fallout in 1955 that Marty inadvertently prevents and so by the end of the first movie they’re not like a couple but they kinda have the same bickering old divorced couple thing going on and they’re kinda in a good place

The fallout is caused by bubbling paranoia and tension and after is burst in the original timeline in 1955 Clara kinda silently went you know what fine and made her way to work for NASA. Doc doesn’t really know about it tho so it’s kinda this weird sore point where it’s like he doesn’t know if she’s still around but he misses her but he doesn’t like talking about it but it comes up all the time kinda thing

In movie 2 I have the least planned but basically Clara ends up stealing the Delorean and by the end of the movie she purposely goes back to the old west where doc follows

In movie 3 she gets there first and as a cover up tells the town that her “husband” will be in town shortly after so that both she and doc (who she knows is coming to get her back) will have a cover story. Anyway they end up like actually falling in love here and it’s fun and great for all yippeee!!!

johnathan wilde, corey price, kieran vanity, and axel parker.

johnathan is the frontman and he's not british but sings in a really forced british accent. he's also on bass.

corey is on synth + actually british and does background vocals for johnathan sometimes. probably the last to join the band. him and johnathan have a yaoi fanbase.

kieran is the songwriter and drummer he's also whose idea it was to start the band in the first place which is why it's named savvan/saving vanity. he's wallet guy's kid and he's nonverbal.
