After weeks sleeping outdoors with no warm clothes or blankets, my friend Abed's @mohmad2 finger has turned black.

It will need to be amputated within days without treatment.

His type 1 diabetes makes this especially urgent. It could turn worse much more quickly; he can only manage to get insulin a couple times a week and has been hospitalized with a coma countless times since the war started.

Please help my friend by sharing and/or donating. He, his wife, and their children have been through relentless trauma and hardship, and unfortunately I do not have the funds to save his hand without help.

I know everyone has a lot of people asking for help but one single treatment costs $200.

That's the smallest installment they'll accept. $200. Can we get that much for him? Please? Even just one, to delay progression? Please.

Amputation of his fingers and toes is now unavoidable, because he was unable to get that $200. Organ damage has begun.

The only way to save his life is a stay in the hospital: $2000, with at least $1000 up front.

He is dying. He will die without help. Probably tonight.

I feel so fucking bitter and angry right now I can't even describe it. You all couldn't spare more than $75, collectively, to spare my friend a slow, agonizing death?

I've literally given up every cent I have to help people. That is why I can't help him now. I have no safety net, no savings, nothing I can give him until my next paycheck. You all couldn't spare the price of a coffee?

I don't even know what to say. He has a wife with PTSD so severe she couldn't even ask for help when he collapsed, and two children, including a newborn. They will die without him, too.
