I just finished my second playthrough ofDevil Survivor 2:Record Breaker, and I noticed something. (Note:I took Daichi’s Route;Triumphant) There’s a Fate Event with Yamato and he’s talking to a dying man. The man gives him a piece of candy with his last breath, and I want to note, this was when Yamato was defeated and is trying to change. After that, he asks the protagonist if he has the right to take this one small piece of candy, but to Yamato, it probably means a whole lot more, considering how he treated civilians and the like. (He even asks the man if he knows what he’s affiliated with and the Man just brushes it off.)  Now, in the Triangulum Arc, this happens again but with a different ‘Hotsuin’. Miyako is talking to child whom apparently, she saved him and his family during a mission (Note:This around her Fate Events and know what she truly is, and around when she’s starting to regret her ideology of ‘You can’t save the many without sacrificing the few’). This child gives her a piece of candy and leaves. Like with Yamato, she asks the protagonist if she has the right to have a piece of candy given to her by someone.
