It could be said that life is a tragedy, with a beginning, a middle, and a foregone conclusion, but just because the story is a tragedy doesn't mean it's not worth knowing.

Stilling your tongue against the fateful words "Once Upon A Time" doesn't prevent a story from happening, it just makes it harder to grasp the narrative for yourself. So what if the conclusion is within sight? Doesn't that make the rest all the more precious? Shouldn't that make a body all the more desperate to make the journey a good one?

And when the path crumbles under you and tragedy rears its head, it's kinder for all involved to reach up and embrace it rather than try to rip the last pages out.

Better a story with an ending than one without an ending at all.
