she'd been working on it for weeks before finally settling on a plan. she left him a scavenger hunt, leading to the empty music classroom where cassie now sat waiting on the piano bench. she knew he'd find her @identimfied was too smart not to. when he finally arrived, she stood, and did a little twirl to show off the bright red hoodie that covered most of her school uniform. she had somewhat sneakily stolen it one day while hanging out at his place. "what do you think?" she asked as she stepped towards him. she threw her arms over his shoulders, hands clasping together behind his neck as she closed the distance between them. "happy birthday, tori," she said with a grin as she rolled onto the balls of her feet to kiss him.

with @hitsharder's return, i wanna mention that in my personal canon for cassie, she learned asl from clint as a kid while she was living in avengers mansion. she may not be completely fluent, but she can hold a conversation in asl very well.
