i cant get over the narrator viewing tyler as a godlike figure. the narrator felt like one of god's unwanted children, right? this was projected from tyler, who at times speaks what the narrator repressed, therefore the narrator figured if there was a god, said god did not want/love him. and how did the narrator fill this gap? by seeing tyler as a godlike figure!!!! by worshipping him and following his word!!! i feel like the real turning point for this would be the lye burn, at the point where the narrator accepts it and becomes completely 'enlightened.' (and not to mention tylers happy tears in the book, giving narrator validation and yk allat..) UGHHHHHHHH I HATE THEM I HATE THEM I WANT THEM TO EXPLODE!!! Ok..
