Forgot to do this a while ago, but it’s good.

I liked the setting being techno fantasy, and the ship fucker bit.

This is a more personal nitpick here, but I wish they had characterized the main cast more to connect them with their namesake, but they didnt need to.

The most memorable part for me was our boy jack. I got really hyped with the song and instantly brought to reality. That poor boy. Still a hype song and I’ve found myself dinging it a few times.

My manifestation theory was unsuccessful.

perhaps the key to magic is in the form of their limbs when they do they’re thing.

In order to figure it out I’ll have to commission a telescope to see them up close, but for now I will watch them intently. The noits have taken to their new inclosure very well. They’re bouncing around on their spongy rotund bogies. Eating all the grubs and pugs they could ever want.

I hired a merchant to get the tree. He should be back in a month or so. Depends on his routes and troll migration.

Our modern day has been a time of great ignorance. We see creatures big and small all around us that have feats that we only can reason other than “that’s just what they do.” This is no explanation, so I suppose I will have to be the one to do it.

I don’t have a whole lot at my disposal, but I believe there is enough common things that can help me to discover the true nature of it all.

Noits: cute little bugs that can sprout saplings from the ground and create mini mountains to climb, which they love to do. They can be found climbing up trees, buildings, if it points to Yúzim then you can find a noit climbing it (which could be and is. Argued by me that it’s a sign of holiness, but Sheil has sternly told me not to compare the two). They are the most magical critter that is accessible to me without risking my, or my loved ones lives.

Rul trees: a special plant that’s said to amplify magical occurrences. I don’t have any in my hands at this moment, but I’ll hire an adventurer to retrieve a seed of one.

I started my hypothesis while observing the noits sprout plant saplings from the ground. I believe this may be a major clue for where magic is derived from. Perhaps magic stems from belief. If I were to test this hypothesis I’d need to find someone who can easily believe things. I’d use my son, but I doubt the love of my life, ruler of my kingdom, Sheil would approve. I’ll see if I can bake my neighbors some gulpat and have a visit with them.

I have also set up the ground works for my terrarium. I assured Sheil that it’s for my work.
