i'm really hoping it was at least an iced coffee? to avoid any danger. you can always print a new syllabus, but going to the ER is a hassle. as for chaos...i saw a couple of guys playing hacky sack on the quad this morning, but there was no hacky sack? i'm thinking there might've been some recreational drugs involved.

Sadly it was not. Luckily I managed to jump just before it could scald me though. That's true. I definitely don't need to go to the ER this early on. Maybe by the end of the football season, though hopefully not then either. Either that, or they have amazing imaginations. You should have asked to join, just to get their reaction.

You definitely need a buddy system. That’s the only reason I didn’t get completely lost my first week. I found someone who had almost all the same classes, and we just... kind of stuck together. Walked everywhere like nervous ducklings.

I could probably tag along with one of my siblings, but I don't wanna drag them with me. They definitely have better things to do. I like the buddy idea though. That's pretty cool! Do you still hang with them?

my parents are off on a cruise this week, which means i've got the house to myself. and what better way to take advantage of that than with a little end-of-summer celebration? this was originally going to be a dalton-only thing, but then i figured this might be a great opportunity for a little cross-glee club bonding to celebrate the start of the new show choir season. we might be in rival glee clubs, but that doesn't mean we have to actually be rivals all the time, right? so, in the spirit of show choir unity, you're all officially invited to a little soirée this saturday at my place! there will be a heated pool and hot tub, snacks (requests are welcome), drinks (ditto) and some good old karaoke. i'd like to avoid any current show choir talk, though, just to keep things light and let the drama stay on stage. the only exception to this rule is anything pre-2000, as i've heard some rumours about your show choir director, new directions, and i need answers. let me know if you're in and i'll text you the address! bathing suits are not optional (unless you're not planning on using the hot tub or pool, of course). hope to see you there! ☀️ @encorehqsstarters

That's really cool of you to put this together, Blaine. And especially that you want to include all of the show choirs from around. I think that speaks a lot to your character. I'd definitely love to drop by! If you need someone to man the grill, I volunteer. Or I can at least bring something.

This is college, not the pick me girl Olympics. Anyway, I showed up late, looked better than everyone, and still managed to make the TA nervous. Honestly? I can say with certainty that I've never caused an identity crisis and I don't ever see that happening, but, congrats? If that's your thing. Personally, I'm here to learn and participate and all that, but you do you.

You're way more prepared than me. As long as I have something to write with, and write in, then I'm good. Although I probably could invest in a new highlighter. Mine is barely visible at this point. Kinda defeats the purpose. It's crazy how expensive art supplies are, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. What's your favorite kind of art to do?
