Yeah, I did. It's my first love I guess you could say. My parents started me on it when I was young. Maybe you just need some practice? Unless you don't really care about it. Improv is definitely a different form of acting, and not my strongest suit. I'd start with a class or something. Otherwise, yeah. Unhinged for sure. It's either that something classic like a fairy tale. A storyteller, I am not. We could get you a nightlight. Definitely. It's kind of fun to try and figure out, if not a little lonely.

My first love was Chris Evans as Johnny Storm in that Fantastic Four movie, so… not quite as admirable or productive as yours. I was never really signed up for anything as a kid, my parents even forgot to take me to school sometimes. Extracurriculars weren’t a thing in my house, we were bare minimum folk. I figured out I could sing in the shower. Improv kind of gives off strong nerd vibes and while I am a bit of a nerd, I was hoping to keep that a secret from the public. You could be my acting teacher. And hey, I believe in you. You can come up with a good nighttime story. you’re a triple threat, remember? That’s why we’ll figure it out together. It won’t feel so lonely that way.

I could probably tag along with one of my siblings, but I don't wanna drag them with me. They definitely have better things to do. I like the buddy idea though. That's pretty cool! Do you still hang with them?

I get that. Dancing is probably my best strength, but somehow I ended up making the triple thing work out. You'll never know until you try, now, will you? What if the only bedtime stories I know are scary ones? Dude, no way. It's an on-going project. Maybe by the time I'm thirty.

Did you start off as a dancer and branch out from there? They always stick me in the back for the choreo heavy Warbler numbers, I was cursed with two left feet. I don’t even know how to try acting. Am I supposed to just wander around campus doing improv? That feels unhinged. And scary bedtime stories?? That’s insane, dude. Who wants to fall asleep terrified? I’m glad it’s not just me feeling a little lost. Maybe we can help each other figure it out.

You definitely need a buddy system. That’s the only reason I didn’t get completely lost my first week. I found someone who had almost all the same classes, and we just... kind of stuck together. Walked everywhere like nervous ducklings.

I love being on stage and feeling like a star, but my voice has always been my superpower. I’ve never tried acting, I could be terrible at it. Maybe I’m a one-threat kind of guy, especially since dancing is definitely not in my skillset. You could totally pull off the bald look, by the way. You’d be like Lex Luthor, whereas right now, you’re more like a skinny Superman. Okay, I’ll give I Love Lucy a shot for you. But if it ends up scaring me, you’re on bedtime story duty. I’m two decades in, I really hope it doesn’t take me a third. Have you figured out who you are yet?

Okay, and she could also keep her lipstick-less mouth shut, couldn't see? No need for her to act superior because she doesn't want to get up early and make an effort. You don't see me going around telling girls that don't wear it that they're inferior, do you? My TA clearly had no clear direction. I'm pretty sure I could jump out, go 'boo' and he's run screaming. It's a lot of fun. If you ever want some mild entertainment, I can introduce you.

Okay, yeah, but maybe she’s just not into mornings? Or people. Or mornings with people. Honestly, I get it. I barely make it in time for my lectures every morning, I could not be asked to wake up even earlier to put stuff on my face. I guess I relate and that's why I'm playing devil's advocate right now. I'm always up for some entertainment but I don't want to give the guy a heart attack. If he's startled by you, then he'd be terrified of my 6'4 ass.

i don't think that's something parents take into consideration when naming their child. your name isn't that moan-able either. it probably sounds like a low-blood sugar diabetic begging for help. those are lovely names... for a dog. i'll pass.

as a result of that thing from last year we don't need to talk about, i'm so pleased to announce that applications for my new bff are officially open! kind of like that paris hilton show, except better, because you get to be besties with me! rules are - you must be at least an eight - but not hotter than me - able to work around my schedule, and good at at least pretending to be interested in all the things i'm into. in return, i'll buy you whatever you want, so long as it's not ugly. <3 @encorehqsstarters

Just overheard a girl in my lecture say she’s “not like other girls” because she doesn’t wear makeup. Babe, you’re not like other girls because other girls have taste. This is college, not the pick me girl Olympics. Anyway, I showed up late, looked better than everyone, and still managed to make the TA nervous. Honestly? If you’re not causing at least one minor identity crisis per week, what are you even doing here? @encorehqsstarters

I get where you're coming from, but I can't say I blame the girl. I wouldn't want to wear makeup either, it seems like too much work and I hate having sticky stuff on my face.
