Who took the bomp from the bompalompalomp?

It started as a house with really high ceilings. While i was constructing it, i found one watching me from afar as i built. I’m assuming he was just curious, and i did see him again afterwards a little closer to the finished building. And yes, i was in creative mode. Life is a lot more fun when you don’t abide by the rules random people have set for you.

The thing people assume about endermen is that they’re all nonchalant and indifferent. And most of all, not sapient. They’re just as intelligent as people, they just choose not to build and speak a different language. They’re more destroyers according to the wiki. Being around them so often has tuned me into how expressive they can really be. Some are indifferent, some are pretty cheeky (they’ll teleport right next to me and then vanish. I’m assuming they’re poking me for fun), and some are shy and timid. But they all typically have the renowned human sense of curiosity.

I saw one enderman the other day. He seemed skittish and i didnt recognize him. I accidentally looked at him for too long, and instead of attacking he ran into the crevice of a tree and hid. Obv i could still see him, as he was only faced away. About a couple hours later, i found that he had followed me all the way to the other side of the island to watch me harvest my potatoes. I saw him coming over with a mushroom he picked up, but as soon as he got too close, he ran the exact opposite direction. He didnt teleport away, but the one time he did, he left so much trail behind him. I felt bad. He seemed really sweet.

I didnt have much skill when it came to boss mobs, so i ended up using ladders to kill the ender dragon. I went to kill the dragon for a reason, which is why i’m in the end for some of these screenshots. (Also to harvest chorus fruit)

This enderman isn’t mad at me. He got blasted with the dragon’s acid breath before i even got there. It was clear that she was an actual danger toward them and i felt like i needed to do something. The more i respawned and went through the portal again, the more endermen were showing up around the spawn-pocket out of curiosity. They showed up to the commune less and less once i killed her, but i honestly couldn’t care less. The one thing i care about more than the commune is their safety and security.
