I think self shippers deserve to be nicer to themselves and make the way they imagine their f/os nicer to them bc being miserable as fuck gets old quickly but gets addicting given the right circumstances. I think self shippers should give themselves grace and allow themselves to grow into happier people bc of their f/o.

your f/o loves you. even when you make mistakes, even when you accidentally hurt someone. they know that its part of life and that you did all you could and want to improve for the future. your f/o wouldn't want you to just sit with it and grovel and stay stuck in the past. you can't undo it, but they know you enough that they know you can grow and continue to change so you don't make the same mistake. your f/o doesn't just love you, they trust you. they would want nothing more for you to trust yourself as well.
