I just love the concept of stiles and derek just falling into a relationship they don’t even realize they’re practically living together and sharing a life with one another until someone has to point it out because they’re just oblivious idiots and once they realize they just accept it because it makes sense and it just feels right 

i know we all have headcanons but the best thing is when it’s collective e.g. teen wolf fans all decided that erica and boyd never died, because i don’t think i ever read fic that had them dead for like a straight year after they died in the show

catch me day drinking and still being bitter about Teen Wolf and Jeff Davis even all these years later cause that’s how I live

#ooooh and if derek is augmented with cybernetics then you know stiles is the one who distrusts all of that #he’s a hacker #he knows how easily that can be exploited#maybe his ex-partner was augmented and it was used to almost kill stiles #maybe he had to kill his partner to save both their lives #his partner’s body was compromised and knew he would be used for bad #and in the end he begged for death #stiles wasn’t going to let his partner suffer any longer so he did it #and immediately quit the force#maybe he spends his days learning how hackers can break into cybernetic implants and prostheses so he can stop them #or maybe he’s still trying to find the one who compromised his partner #maybe that’s how he ends up with derek who is closing in on the culprit #at first derek thinks it’s all above board from his higher ups #but then it comes out that stiles broke in and assigned himself as derek’s partner #and then there’s the old ‘you’re too close to this you have to stop’ argument #and in the end stiles saves him from being compromised as well #and they live happily ever after offline where no one can ever touch derek again #maybe they get a cabin the woods and derek has an ax attachment for his arm #chopping wood like a pro #this got away from me in the end via andavs
