There's a difference between making it so kids don't accidentally see porn in the course of casual browsing of content, and banning adults from doing adult things in spaces you have to opt into.
Porn ads not appearing on random websites that don't have adult content: Good
Adults being banned from interacting with adult content in a space where you have to click yes on seeing adult content: Bad
