Concept Playlists
As RequestedÂ
+ You walk out of your shitty roadside motel room that you’ve been staying in since you ran away from home. It hasn’t been cleaned since the 50s but at least no one will find you out here, in the middle of the desert. You head towards the ice machine, but someone is already there. It’s the most popular girl in school, who you’ve had a crush on since 6th grade. She’s run away too.Â
+ The year is 1987, You’re part of a ragtag band of misfits that have been friends since childhood. All of you are gay, but no one has admitted it yet so rifts are forming in the gang. One summer morning you roller skate over to your best friend, the only other girl in the groups house to tell her you’re in love with her. Will it tear group apart once and for all or bring you back together?Â
+Â You and your closest friends sit on the roof of your suburban house watching the sunset. The crisp, nearly-autumn breeze blows against your over sized hoodie while you sip cheap, lukewarm beer from a paper bag. No one says anything, no one has to.Â
+ It’s 1:30 am and you’re driving out of the city with your girlfriend asleep in the passenger seat. there are lights glowing on the highway and in the city behind you but it feels like its just the two of you, and you wish it could last forever
+ You’re on the road with a crappy RV you bought somewhere sketchy with your best friend and her dog on the trip of a lifetime trying to make it as a bluegrass singer. You fall in love over crumpled maps, roadside lemonade, campfire sing alongs, and grimy dive bars where you pay for meals by washing dishes.Â
+ You walk into your room, satin gown flowing in your wake,You dramatically collapse into a dark velvet chair as if the cameras are rolling. You put on a record and pour your fourth glass of red wine. Your fifth husband has mysteriously died, good thing he left everything to you in the will.
+ You’re at a Halloween party in the basement of a seedy punk club, so wasted you can’t see straight. The ground starts shaking. More than it was before, are you imagining it? No. The bands screaming has gone from angry to terrified. The apocalypse is happening right now.Â
+ You stand in front of the house at the edge of town. The house with boarded up windows. The house with broken glass in the yard instead of flowers, like everyone else in your small misty mountain town. The house no one talks about. The house you only go when you have no where else to go. You have someone to find in there, someone you need to bring home.Â
+ You’re a music producer who died overdosing on cocaine at a club in the 70s. You awaken in the exact spot you died in the year 2073. Youre hungry, thirsty, and hornier than you’ve ever been. But most importantly, you look as fly as you always have and you’re surrounded by beautiful women.Â
+ She’s an urban witch. A drugstore sorceress, mixing potions of Xanax and gasoline. Selling them on a street corner in the east village. No one knows her name, few know her face, But they say you’ll know her when you see her. You approach her on a chilled November night and offer a pack of cigarettes for a love potion. Hands shaking with anxiety and cold. She looks you in the eye and tells you you don’t need love potion. She’ll give you everything you want for free.Â
+ You’re a nerd, a nobody, the kid who sits by herself at lunch. The kid who never talks and never gets noticed by anyone. Yet here you are, dressed in your big sisters clothes, standing in the coolest girl in schools living room while a party rages around you. Tonight you’re going to be cool. Tonight you’re going to be the life of the party. Tonight she’s finally going to realize you exist. This is either the bravest thing you’ve ever done or the stupidest.
+ You’ve been climbing the mountain for three days and three nights. Out of food, out of water, and utterly, painfully alone. Just when you think you can walk no farther, you hear a waterfall in the distance. With your remaining ounce of strength you launch yourself the final few yards. You collapse to your knees and peer into the clear, cool water. But Instead of seeing your face your entire life is reflected back at you.Â
"YOU" I love your porcelain skin, The way your eyes moves down from my lips to my chin. Your hair falls perfectly without you trying, The way your eyes looks at me and then starts shining. You’re so full of life even at the verge of death, And you manage to take away some of my sorrows and regrets. There’s not a day you don’t amaze me you take away my breath, But still you’re so hard to understand, you’re so hard to get. You’re eyes are the most beautiful ocean I have ever seen, And I’m afraid, afraid that if I dive in, I might never come back up for air, Because you don’t only take away my sorrows you take away my despair. You give my life light at it’s darkest moment, You’re so good at it I think it’s a talent. You have a way of controlling my body and I don’t even notice, I want to tell you I love you I want you to know this. You make me feel things every time you smile, I love it when you make me happy even if it’s just for a while.

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER • TUMBLR IRL • BROOKLYN, NY • 6/26/18
Last night in Brooklyn, we helped 300 lucky fans celebrated one of the biggest bands on Tumblr—the amazing 5 Seconds of Summer (@5sos).Â
There were fans were patiently lined up outside the venue as early as 6 a.m. the day before. It’s easy to be that dedicated when your faves are celebrating their third No. 1 Billboard album.
Like all IRLs, this wasn’t just a regular ol’ concert. This was a one-time only visual experience. Artist Signe Pierce (@signepierce) brought their latest album, Youngblood, to life through radiant light direction, artistic projections, and a holographic photo installation. Every single audience member was given a single rose to keep or toss on stage as they saw fit.
If you didn’t get to make it to the IRL, don’t fret. We’ll be doing a special video Answer Time with the band tomorrow at 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST on their Tumblr, so be on the look out for that.

Double Dissasociation
Him: If you want to try to make yourself calmer, you could double dissosociate.
Me: What does that even mean?
Him: It's where you disassociate from a situation and then disassociate yourself again.
Him: So you have the situation in your mind, and it would cause some level of uneasiness thinking about it even.
Him: And so you take that situation and you turn it into a moving picture on a screen in a movie theatre
Him: And you look at it from a seat in the movie theatre, this is a big movie theatre
Him: And so you watch it from there, in your seat somewhere in the middle, you're watching the event on the screen
Him: Then from there, you leave that person sitting in the seat and go right up to the booth in the back, where the movie is projected from
Him: It's really far away in he back
Him: And you're behind the glass
Him: And you can look out over all the seats, and you see yourself sitting down there in the middle looking up watching the screen
Him: And just really take in the environment from that point of view
Me: Ahhhh that's such a good idea
Him: There's a few more steps to it that actually make it more effective, but I cant remember them
Him: But you really gotta sit down with no distractons and close your eyes and put yourself in it

Funny Sides of Disorganized Thinking/Behavior
- putting random objects in completely wrong places (like utensils in the fridge instead of the sink.)
-walking around with a random object in your hand for a reaaaaaallly long time.
-wondering where you put something for 30mins for someone to point out that you’re still holding it.
-if you hear someone in the background talking when you are speaking you add a random word they spoke to your speech.
-dressing the wrong way for hot or cold weather, looking crazy to the people that notice
-dropping your food on the floor because you forgot it was there then crying intensely about it.
-Starting on a thing, then another thing, then another thing, and eventually realizing nothing was finished.
-reading out loud and losing track of where you where so you re-read the same thing several times before noticing.
-introducing yourself more than twice to someone like it’s the first time you met them.
-”What was I doing or was I doing anything at all?”
-I HAVE TO PEE!! LIKE RIGHT NOW!
-Standing up to do something then forgetting what it was and sitting back down *repeat as necessary*
-Inappropriate laughter, because it’s funny to you but you don’t know why.
-having 100 tabs open on your browser.
-insanely random search history, one minute baking video’s, next minute discovering government conspiracies.
-yelling, crying,laughing for no reason
-sudden child like silliness

Shout out to all your internet friends who are gone.
Those messenger screen names that haven’t logged on in ages, some before detailed profiles were a thing on those services.
Those emails that are long since abandoned, some with domains that no longer exist.
Those online friends you knew years ago and who then helped shaped you in some way, who you just can’t FIND anymore.
Those people who once were, and hopefully still exist IRL, that seem to have no known internet life anymore.
And those who have actually passed on, and their online lives are now a memorial to them.
I miss you all. I hope life is/was kind to you, and maybe one day, we’ll somehow connect again.
