Just waiting for the day when everyone realizes that every part of socializing is exhausting. Like today I went to stock up on⌠things. When I realize that my favorite chips are not on the shelf, I spend a good six or seven minutes debating whether I should get my shit together and ask someone who works there, take another bag or drive to another store to find them. Realizing I would most likely have a breakdown if I didnât get them, I asked someone who worked there, me yes, I did that.. What couldâve been a normal âIâll go check in the backâ â turned in to a full blown conversation which ended with me knowing this guy not looking forward to Christmas at all cause apparently all that happens is that his dad and aunt fight all night and he was dreading New Years cause apparently him and his ex are going to the same party back home.. All I wanted was my bag of chips. Now Iâm sitting here, exhausted. Wanting to cry and might just stay in bed until January 1st. I canât believe people get home after being social and donât break down every single interaction theyâve had that day and stress themselves out about it. Now Iâll be wondering if this guy is going to kiss his ex at midnight. Looked like he needed it. â Anyways, I got my chips and at least Iâm a pretty cryer.
Being a pretty crier is so important, it gets you so many more things that you want. Iâm always curious when they say theyâll check in the back, though. Are they really rifling through the shelves or are they just on their phones watching TikToks? Not that Iâd mind, retail workers so deserve the break!
