So I've been thinking about these tweets Jonny Sims posted regarding today's episode, in which he says that "...like all of season 5, [this episode] is about fear, not truth... season 5 statements are an exercise in unreliable reality - a world warped by the fears of those trapped inside the domains. They are relfect what their victims fear most in an almost purely subjective world.”
In other words, this world is built around the fears of the people living them ("I'll relapse back into my old addiction, my flat will burn down, no matter how hard I try I'll never climb out of this hole I find myself in"). If they used to fear it would happen, now it happens constantly.
This is interesting to me in context of episode 170 (Reflection), and Martin's experience with the Lonely. While he's trapped, he makes several statements that he believes to be true at the time, which are in reality falsehoods:

He later recants both these statements when he's breaking free of the Lonely's hold, instead latching onto the truth:

In essence, he has used the truth about the world as it actually is ("I didn't choose to be here, I have friends, someone is looking for me") to push back against the things that he fears are true ("No one cares about me and it's all my fault"). He's taken himself out of the subjective world where his fears have become manifest and put himself back in the objective world where his fears are just that: fear.
Where am I going with this? Well, the fact that Martin was able to free himself from his deepest fear by remembering the truth of his life engenders some pretty interesting speculation on how to free everyone from the places they are trapped. If everyone remembers that these fears of theirs are not the truth of their lives... maybe they'll be able to break free too.
Sure would be nice if there was an Avatar of Awful Knowledge and Revealed Secrets around to beam that information into everyone's heads, wouldn't it?
Of course, that Avatar would probably need a place to do it from, maybe a large central structure, built in a place that makes it visible to everyone in the world, no matter where they are...
Sure would be helpful if they could find something like that.
