//So THIS happened in one of my discord chats. I was chatting about the Black Rose Dragon deck that I was nearly finished building and Yugibot was like what??? The fuck are you talking about I’m OG only. It honestly made me cackle.

What's worse, he was willing to COMPROMISE with them, try to figure out what happened and try to fix it. And my father had the GALL to demand his full name AND address if they were to talk.

Of fucking course my friend didnt feel comfortable giving it out immediately, and said after he better knew them he would, but my dad outright REFUSED. He needed this information and he needed it NOW. He refused to try and see things from my friends point of view.

So now things are going to fucking stay the same and FUCKING HELL I'M SO GODDAMN FURIOUS AND SAD. They say the mean well, but they sure as hell dont want to see this issue from all sides. Definately going about this the wrong FUCKING WAY. This ain't their way or the highway mentality when my friend is WILLING TO TALK TO AND COMPROMISE WITH THEM. Nooooooo, they had to but their fucking noses in and treat me like a FUCKING CHILD as usual.

Hearing his squeak brought a chuckle, sitting down on the couch. He unzipped the jacket and put it aside, guiding Yugi to sit on his lap. “Come here, Aibou.” Atem hummed, wrapping his arms around his waist so they could share their body heat. Plus, he wanted the feeling of holding him, he missed it.

“Nothing compared to how your room was in high school, it was a mess then.” A teasing glitter in his eyes with his words and he nuzzled his cheek.

Yugi didn’t resist when Atem pulled him into his lap. With a content hum, he snuggled up closer to his Mou and put his head against his heart, all too happy to hear an actual heartbeat. He was just about to get comfortable when his other half mentioned his room in high school. He gave a cute pout, looking Atem in fake hurt.

“Well well. What do we have here? You know normal people wouldn’t take such a detour through a shady looking alley. So i’m curious. Are you just feeling brave or foolish? Maybe just lost perhaps?” Safiya had just been enjoying a apple when she noticed a person come her way. Kind of unusual, especially since people avoided alleyways when they could.

He knew this area of the city well, and while most priests avoided alleyways and shady places, Heba thrived there. Being trained as a warrior of Sehkmet, he was taught many things to prepare him for any situation. Having left with an ordinary cloak was also a blessing, as no one would have immediately recognized him as the Queen. He could move about more freely than any of his husband’s soldiers could.

The sound of a woman’s voice caught his attention and he turned around slowly to face her. Eyes narrowed at her, though she wouldn’t be able to see them. As usual, judge the threat level of a person before engaging in combat. She didn’t seem like the kind to blindly attack, but he would be cautious for now.

“I don’t think what I’m doing in this alley is any of your concern, miss. Unless you see me as someone to easily rob, then we’re going to have a problem.”

Her fingers traced over the text again, and her eyes darkened a tad.

Peasant girl. Street trash. Orphan.

“Do I really belong anywhere…?”

She closed the book and stared up at the sky, feeling a familiar loneliness take over…

He had been looking for her all over the palace in the morning and city that afternoon. To say that he was worried was an understatement. Fortunately, Heba was a master of sneaking out of the Palace undetected and disguised. By the time people realized he was gone, he was already searching through the city.

It was perfectly alright that he was shy to speak. It didn’t bother her in the very least, as she read the hieroglyphs she just smiled. Anuket read over every last part until she had finished. “You have nothing to be sorry about. I don’t bite though Nanu might.” Her black panther who had been dozing nearby raised her head for a moment before resting it back on her paws. “Sorry, perhaps that had been the wrong thing to say. Nanu is actually very friendly once she gets to know a person.” But that was besides the point.

“I’m very certain we’ll become very good friends. I’ve heard quite a bit about you from Atem, good things as well which is why i’m glad we could finally meet. Did you not think I would be kind? Mind you I am only unkind to people who do things to make me angry or acts which I find unacceptable.” 

It took him a moment to find his courage again, but Heba managed to do it. “Sometimes it’s very hard to determine truth from lies and misconceptions.” His voice was a little quiet.

He’s gonna do it... If one more FUCKING person asks him the dreaded question, he would unleash Gandora in all her fury. Roles be damned, country be damned. He was sick and TIRED of that same question!

“Your phone was downstairs and she didn’t stop by, you’ve been home these past couple days.” Atem’s eyes narrowed a bit, searching Yugi’s for something before he looked over at the scrolls. He knew something was up by how he had jumped but he wasn’t sure what.

One hand reached out to grab one, his fingers outstretched before a noise from downstairs caught his attention. He looked away, pulling his hand back. “What was that?”

Play it cool, Yugi. His heart beat faster the closer Atem came to reading the scrolls. Oh his other half was onto him alright, and Yugi internally prepared himself for the outcome.
