“I’m scared that with time I will forget the way you use to laugh, the way you jumped up and down when you were waiting something or you were excited about something, the fact that you cracked your teeth when you were in 5th grade because you were restless, the fact that I was able to call you at 4am crying and you would get up in a heartbeat and come comfort me. I’m scared that as the time passes I will only remember some big things we did and that small things will disappear from my memory. I’m scared I will forget how it felt to have a real friend. But the thing that I know I won’t be able to forget is the fact how much I loved you and how much you loved me and that no matter how much time passes when someone asks me who is your best friend your name will automatically pop up in my head.”
