Confession: I looove the almost-kiss moments between couples - particularly if either one (or both!) individuals are know to be sarcastic, saucy in their everyday interactions with those around them. It gets me every time! 🥰

Yeah, yeah… I was most DEFinitely born in the wrong time, place, reality, you name it. 🤔 The Forgotten Realms is where it’s at. I’d take fighting off the Absolute, Mindflayers & a Netherbrain, and having to make camp each night with several possibly-magical beings, over what’s happening on present-day Earth any day. At least I’d know where I stood.

Currently, I’m not sure if it’s safe for my (Canadian) teenager to fly to Florida with her sports team & Coaches in a few months or not. It’s not unrealistic to think that something unsafe may occur while on such a trip & to THAT particular state. What kind of ridiculous life is this? She just wants to play competitive volleyball and I just want to go to support her & our club. 🤔🥺😮‍💨

This is why I would WAY prefer to live in Baldur’s Gate, circa 1492 DR! Every day would be an Adventure (albeit a stressful one) and every time you wake up you’d be thrilled & grateful to just be ALIVE, the “Wildlife” would be inCREDible (I mean, where else can one stumble upon a common kitchen Cat, a domestic Dog, a sassy Tressym, Imps, Quasits, Gnolls, regular sewer Rats, tricksy Cranium Rats, chit-chatty Intellect Devourers, “Orin the Red” - face it, she’s her own beast! - and huge red Githyanki Dragons), and each meal would taste better than the last because of how much work you had to go through to either physically hunt it down OR shop around for it all at street vendor locations OR by simply preparing each one from scratch with little equipment (no Microwaves in ol’ Waterdeep, for instance), and…and…and I would really just LOVE to get away from the sorry state of things as they are now, in real life, in 2025. 😩

I’ve been having difficulty with drawing & painting of late, as the meds I’m on cause my hands to constantly shake (and occasionally spasms).

I used to LOVE drawing, but haven’t over the past several years. I’ve decided to try giving it another go, now that I’ve finally accepted that MY hands will never been steady again, and have decided to attempt drawing much less detailed, more cartoon-y characters instead.

💕 I think this would be sooo cool! Astarion would make a terrific Phantom (Erik) or Raoul de Chagny, depending on which avenue of our Star’s personality chose to venture down! 💕
