Instead, he leaned in like he was sharing the biggest, most amazing, best secret in the world. Only it wasn’t a secret — it was a fact for him. His eyes were shining, his smile was shining, and his whole being seemed to glow with joy and pride! Speaking was already hard, standing was already hard, his fingers were like wood (and if the fingers felt that way, the rest of him did too), he was dying, and he didn’t even realize it yet!

And in that instant, in that exact moment, the only one thing he could think about was how incredible, how strong, how utterly amazing his brother was! And he just wanted everyone to know it!
