This is completely self-indulgent and I'm not gonna explain myself

I’m going to take a break until this information rolls out fully. I suppose I forgot the first rule of the internet: things change quickly.

I am deeply deeply hurt. I just spent the last 4 hours crying and mourning content creators that had made me smile for 9 months with their stories. I just finished a fanart of Avid with all of his characters. I am midway through an animatic that features them prominently. I thought I might genuinely be unable to finish it because I missed them so much it hurt to draw them. Now I am spiraling over whether I should finish it for other reasons.

I know this may seem a little odd given StV has only focused on Legs and Owen (with the appearance of a Louis here and there), but StV is going to be mildly affected moving forward.

Chapter 7 was going to be the first of several interludes I was going to scatter through the fic. This first interlude was going to focus on Legs and Avid, specifically. The eerie timing of this is not lost on me (in fact, I was finishing chapter 6 when things were starting to come to light, and I made a quick adjustment to the ending of chapter 6 to give myself more flexibility). I am in a fortunate position that this is not essential to my overall narrative, and I am most likely going to just cut it - Interlude II will become Interlude I (when I get to it after Part III). That said, I did want to let people know there may be yet another break before the next chapter of StV while I make sure there aren't other things in my outline I need to adjust.

As of June 7 2026 Avidmc and Marma1ade have quit content creation. Also as of June 7 2026, creators from the Minecraft server Skyblock Kingdoms (sbk) have come forward about “irrevocable damage [Avidmc and Marma1ade] have caused to SBK and its friends” (quote from Sbk statement on twitter) and have removed them from the server.

Below is a time line of statements, with links to the original, for ease of access. However I want to make clear that every one of these statements does not ask for aggression or violence against anyone, infact many implore the reader not to send any hate or aggression. Instead these statements ask for caution. ⚠️ do not attack anyone for who they support. Do not send hate to anyone involved. Doing so will get you banned across platforms, and make you a shitty person. ⚠️

due to the situation, many are finding themselves in financial trouble. This is a collection of those artists, and their posts asking for help.

Many of the creators who have been affected by this have streamed to go into further detail about the things that were said and done. This is a collection of those streams. I was going to make a summary or clip important parts of the streams but for my own sanity I’m not going to be doing that.

as Legundo says in his stream, it’s important to go out and verify information for yourself. I just am trying to make that easier.

do not go to their streams or channels and ask questions. All of them have said that they will talk about it once and never again.

They also remind us that this is not an excuse or opportunity to spread hate of any kind.
