But this has morphed a lot as I have aged and I find less of a need to rebel. I dont need to rebel because again I am internally self governed, and in that inner knowing I can play any role and do anything so long as I remain in the space of inner respect for myself. I think this is why I also feel detached from myself in many ways, detachment as synonymous with not so self focused as I age. because I dont need self focus or self love and whatever other bullshit terms we say because I have self respect.

I am reminded of how all my grandparents are older than the state of Israel yet none of them have been or will be buried in their homeland.

I am reminded of the current genocide carrying out in much the same way but with new horrors that maim and poison and kill and trap and starve our people.

I am reminded of my many Palestinian siblings with their key to their home in 1948 and now 76 years later, their key to their home in 2023.
