today some drawing was achieved: worked on a zine during zine club and took myself on a date to a ceramics painting cafe! excited to ink the zine once all the sketching is done+pickup my painted plate in about two months :) might be longer tho bc if heatwaves continue they cannot be turning on the oven in that shop they will absolutely cook

being heavily perceived moment: my mom bought some of my zines this weekend and i never re-read my zines so now i will bc i need to know what she's about to read

#help i don't remember what's the other one she got #it's probably fine bc she asked which ones she was allowed to read lol #but maybe i advised her wrong #starkittyzines

if you're anything like me here's what you need to do immediately after getting home from tabling at an event:

- drink a liter of water because you forgot all day and only hydrated half as much as you should have due to constant interaction and wearing a mask

- stretch because you either sat like a shrimp behind your table or stood too much and kept your muscles tense the whole time without realizing

- shake some nervous energy out because you get post-socializing zoomies and held stims in unintentionally

- shower and get several outfits out of your bag and into the washer because sweaty girl club. hashtag hot girls are sticky i guess?? my first fit change was planned, i wore a different shirt to set up than i wanted to wear for the day bc i *knew* and my second was actually for different reasons (tight shirt=felt like needles after a few hours) but still i hate that this happens lol

I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

I'll share some of the info below:

Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.

What to do?

-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides

- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!

To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!

the idea started from my "sure i have tattoo money" zine but it took me so long to finish making it that it's totally different now. heh

i recently spent a few days as a little art retreat with some friends to work on some crafts and i finally finished this one+another! well i finished the illustrations for the other i still have to include them in the digital version where the text lives. but i'll have new zines to share soon :)
