Mermaids eat sailors

Bilbo's party! I wanted to paint fireworks, so I had to paint these ones.

Several years ago, I think about… 4 years? I participated in an illustration contest to make the cover of a storybook. The theme of the book was "grandma's secrets" and I participated with this sketch. I managed to be among the finalists! But I didn't win. Now looking through files, I found this sketch and I really like it… so I decided to renew it and finish it. I had never drawn space-tech junk, so that was a challenge for me hehe. Anyway, I like the result… What I care most about achieving in my works is the atmosphere and I think that in this case it was successful.
