i only have two speed settings for blogging: “makes you wonder if theyre even still active” or “your entire dash is nothing but me”

I have no concept of the pain scale, like…I just realized that last week I said I was in especially awful hip pain and when my pt asked to rate it I said “3”. And then this week I said I felt a lot better than last week and when she asked me to rate it I said “3”. I really don’t know what the numbers are supposed to be. I know it’s supposed to be out of ten but like. I think I rate the pain by what time of the day it is. Like “i will rate the pain I’m in at a 5 at the end of the day, so compared to what my pain level will be later, what I’m feeling right now is a 3.” I also think i rate in overall pain rather than specific pain? Like, systemically I’m at a five. Some parts will be worse or better but i just rate it all at five because that’s the average

MUCH better than those stupid smile faces.

This is amazingly helpful.

Okay something that fucks me up is how the interviewer responded when Harry said “My first real crush was Louis Tomlinson.” Because she didn’t hear him the first time so he repeated it, but she didn’t laugh or question it or automatically assume it was a joke. Because anyone from here to outerspace could hear the sincerity in his voice and see it in his face in that flicker of a moment where he was deciding whether he was going to answer honestly or not. So anyway, after he says Louis is his crush, the interviewer doesn’t brush it off or even sound confused, but she asks him how Louis feels about him??? Like without even batting an eyelash. And Harry is SO happy because he gets to say “It’s mutual, we’ve discussed it.” He is SO happy to be telling someone that he’s got a crush on a beautiful boy and that that beautiful boy likes him back. And just when you think it can’t get any better, the interviewer says “That’s beautiful, Harry.” She never once treats it as a joke and she SUPPORTS him because not only is it okay, it’s BEAUTIFUL. And the way his face lights up is JUST…oh my god. No matter how much we appreciate that moment, it will always be underappreciated. Find that interviewer. Find her and give her a hug or a winning lottery ticket or the world.

a concept: olivia is a dark haired dark skinned latina and diana is a freckled redhead and they go stargazing and share milkshakes and hot dogs from a food cart and diana giggles a lot and olivia just shyly smiles but sometimes when diana makes a particularly bad joke olivia snorts and sometimes they walk olivia’s dog and go to plays that diana loves and they’re both just a bit of sunshine in their own right and every date they go on they just fall a little bit more in love
