Probably my least favorite thing about ya books is how sometimes the first book will be pretty good and have a nice plot and even a well developed protagonist. AND THEN the author fucks the second book with a dumbass, obviously forced romantic subplot that eventually takes over the the whole fucking series

Today was super productive and overall pretty good. I start school really soon, but I feel rested and ready to go back.

I learned on Friday that I have a quiz the day I go back to school over my summer reading. I am kind of worried about that, but I'm glad I at least know about it and have a little bit of time to prepare.

Things I got done today:

Studied for my upcoming english quiz over my summer books

Made two english quizlets

Reread one of my summer reading books

Took notes on one of my summer reading books

Went thrifting

Did the dishes

Did duolingo (I'm on day 161 of my streak!!!)

I go back to school in four days and I just learned I have a quiz the day I get back. I guess it's time to study for 100 hours straight
