Long story short it will be awhile until Blades is updated, won't be a 2 year hiatus just taking anywhere from 1 week to 1 month break. I suggest if you want the full reason why read the post from the url below, if not just know the reason concerns my family and health. I will still be active on the forums and on here to answer any questions about either the situation or Blades.

Nearly had a heart attack this morning... So i found 2 dusty usbs in my spare room that used to be the office and plugged one in because I'm transferring files and first thing my laptop(the one with cside on it and all my files) does after i power it on is try to boot up in recovery mode 😭. So here I am freaking out that I just completely lost all my data and files for Blades until i think to try removing the stick and restarting.
Everything was fine -_-, funny story my laptop got messed up so bad back in 2015 that my SO had to completely wipe everything and fix my laptop and keeps toshibas recovery mode on a stick just in case since ive had this thing for about 10 years now and the most ironic part is.... I finally upgraded yesterday which is why I'm transferring files..... I'm going from a derpy toshiba satellite to a 2018 msi so huge quality difference and I'm excited to play around in cside on this thing
Short writing update:
I got the nap path done, still might edit it some and it's about 2,000 more words/code which was added to the demo and uploaded on 06/08/21.
I'm honestly stuck on the text paths for Luca and Briar and if I can't get those figured out I'll probably edit the nap path to be more fleshed out and have interactions. Right now its still nap path or walk path so you can only choose one or the other (will be changed if I don't do the text paths)
I have been getting a lot of inspiration for scenes where you interact with the RO's in chapter one. Which is todays plan, writing a few of them up and work on organizing my notes more.

Okie doke, the fixes should be up everyone! Also, in a distraction caused by one of my cats I accidentally uploaded chapter one sooooo be prepared for probably a lot of broken parts/possible confusion and thats draft #1....all the code needs to be fixed in it as well so expect i guess a fixed upload of that one later too 😅😂

Yeeeah and looking back through the code on that part I saw why, I'm looking over more of the code because I more than likely did it in other spots too. Give me about 30 minutes and try the demo again.
Somewhat official update notes 06/06/21:
- Cordelia is now the official twin, it was difficult for me to write the 2 seperate personalities.
- Placement changes on where you meet certains RO's
- Nyx was coerced to take anger management classes.
- Hopefully the new demo feels less rushed? Idk to me it felt like I was moving the story too fast <_<
- New secret RO (who won't appear until next large update) ok well not so secret if you read the spoiler tags under the 06/06/21 update on the COG forum for this game. Also the forum is reopened.
- Castiel will still make an appearance in the series, just not in the way you think.
There's not much under chronos in the stats page. I'm completely revamping and refining the timeline of past events, which doesnt even matter since most wont unlock till next update anyways.

UPDATE 05/15/21:
So I'm alive, just wanted to say for anyone who knows the last update to Blades was about/maybe more than 2 years ago, if you've only stumbled across my old dusty demo then hi! I had some health issues pop up and the entire thing has been a process.
The demo on dashingdon will be updated before the end of this month and I'll post an update for it when it loads. I finally figured out the problem with the infinite load at the very end so that will be fixed along with some other bug issues i had while reworking through my coding.

Is anyone else internally screaming that mass effect legendary edition is finally out? Or the fact that EA announced a Garrus Vakarian waifu body pillow cover? Like I sort of want one just to have it you know?
