Our editing team, in an effort to maintain system message consistency, has always had issues with "The Fourth Wall" messages. Those who have read ORV before will understand why, but we won't go into details here since we know we have brand new readers following us.

We have come to a better understanding of how the messages look and act as we've progressed further into our editing of the story, so we have gone back into previous volumes and edited the messages to reflect properly how The Fourth Wall messages should look.

I never would have thought that something so simple and straightforward would be so difficult to even start. My mind has been working overtime to procrastinate, opting for doing nothing at all as opposed to risk doing something wrong or taking responsibility and actually doing what's right. I keep getting memories coming through of easier times where I was doing things for myself as opposed to doing everything for God. Of things I gave up that a small and stupid part of me wants to miss even though I left all of it behind to be obedient to my Lord and Savior and King.

How was leaving all that behind so easy, but the simple thought of reading the Word is difficult and stressful? (Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question... I'm well aware that it's Satan at work.) I keep looking and asking for answers knowing very well that He is the answer and that His Word will bring clarity. But a combined attack of fear of boredom and lack of motivation continues to hold me back.

I guess just... everyone pray for me. Pray for my motivation to return. Pray for my fear to leave. Pray for God to make steady the parts of my faith that waver. Pray for my desires that have been led astray to be realigned with God. And finally, pray not my will, but His will be done.

Here are the GIFs for volume 5. I couldn't find the other 2 I made; they are probably on my laptop, so I will add them to this post next week.

I wanted to focus more on Yut Lung in this post, as he makes his appearance in Vol. 5.

I know Eiji doesn't close his eye completely in the gif, but I decided to leave it like that. Also, I know that he shouldn't be able to move in that gif since he was paralysed, but I thought the panel looked nice, so just ignore the canon for that one.

Found the other 2 GIFs I made. I wanted to make a comparison between Arthur and Ash. I made the backgrounds blur and unblur in case it's hard to see what I did. Maybe I should have made the blur more aggressive, but I'm not changing it now.

Hey guys, I'm not dead. I wanted to let you know that I haven't given up on this project. I'm still getting used to my new job (it's been 2 months now, can you believe it; time flies), so I usually just crash when I come home. I'm currently working on another project of mine called Behind the Scenes. It has nothing to do with BF or any other fandom, so I will be posting it on my IG. When I finish the first part of Behind the Scenes, I will make animations/GIFS for volume 6 of BF. That's probably going to take a while, so I apologise in advance.

I Love Only Him by gardenfoxx on AO3

It has mature content and upsetting themes. The first half is also incredibly depressing, but I enjoy it a lot. I'm currently at chapter 13, and the author has recently finished it (lucky me). I wouldn't recommend reading this when you are in a bad headspace, but if you like angst and want to see more of post-Garden of Light content, you should definitely read it. The main ship is AshEiji with one-sided SingEiji. There is also another one-sided one, but I don't want to spoil it.

While the story is incredible, I urge you to read the tags. The last thing I want is to trigger someone's trauma. So please, please read the fic warnings carefully and think about it before you decide to read it.

If any of you have some fic recommendations for me, you can leave them in the comments. I don't usually interact with fandoms, so this is waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone, but I realised that the only way to reach more people is to actually interact with them.

Late on this one, oops! I've been... really really busy. Just totally slammed by work and life and stuff these last couple months, but sneaking in work on these very important cowboys where I can...

Currently working on implementing a bighuge quest starring Mayor North! Only the final (fairly long) scene remains.

At some point i even thought i might have to change it all together but I managed to find a solution that's not more then tweaking the dialogue a bit wich is a huge relief bc I really wanted to have this specific scene in terms story but I almost had to cut it for coherence 😨

The next update is content complete, from start to finish. It just needs some finishing touches and some QA before it's in your hands.

Due to certain standards changing for us, select parts of Act 1 and 2 will also receive a visual upgrade, anything extensive will be after the update is out.
