but in all seriousness, this new episode really showed that side of stan again and i felt bad for him. bro just wanted to keep working no matter what as he feels that’s why ppl like him, bcuz he’s loyal to his job. i like to think this stems from childhood and never being able to please jack. he felt like a failure to his father and feels like a failure to his family (and country sometimes) so he gives it his 110% now as adult and bcuz he’s accepted now, he’s on a high of pleasing ppl. in reality, now that he’s been estranged to his father for years, he needs to realize he’s a great dad and husband and grown into a version of himself his younger self would be proud of.

this wonderful show first premiered after the super bowl 21 years ago on february 6th, 2005 and we met stan, francine, hayley, steve, roger, and klaus aka the smiths!
