It means we be more proud?

Humans have a weird history of being up their own asses about what’s okay and not okay to do (most of that shit not really being their business), so Pride Month kinda celebrates people that don’t fit that “norm” they keep trying to push onto people. So, like, you, and Heart, and Sonar, and Malevola, and me, and… Wow, our team is hella queer, now that I think about it.

Also, I was going to say Bae was wearing that because he doesn’t know how to dress, but yeah that, too!

It is a month for people made to feel "other" to be proud of what makes them "not fit in"? If so then, I will be very proud this month for the things that make me different from humans!

Heart has used that word but I dont think I quite understand it yet, what is queer?

Since joining the Z-Team, have you had a favorite call or type of call to be on? Are there ever times you’re secretly hoping Robert picks you for a call? Do you prefer to work alone or with others?

I do not know if I could say I have a favourite, but I do like when the calls involve water. Unfortunately the only trouble that happens near the docks is typically a bunch of people with weapons in boxes, or drugs. And Robert has said he does not put me on those calls because of the last time I went through a man. But I have not done that since!

I do not mind working with others, in fact I agree when Blonde Blazer said I work best when there is someone I can learn from. I am doing very well on my own, I think, but it is easier to understand the vast different situations I could find myself in with someone to show me what way is best to react. I am still learning much about surface dweller customs and so far it seems in most situations, a one liner should be said while handling a trouble maker. I may be wrong though, I have heard invisigal's lines be called "corny" but I dont know if that is positive or not.

As for whether or not I hope to be chosen for a call...well that would not be a secret if I told you, would it? At least that is how Malevola defined a secret.

Siren? Water? Shoulda figured that was kinda obvious. Can’t say I like the wet so much, so if we find ourselves in trouble by the shore I’ll leave that to you.

That’s cool that you can work with others. I get the sense the team loves working with you. And Blazer’s a pretty good person to get advice from. She’d never steer you wrong. Personally, I prefer solo work, and she and Robert never let me hear the end of how “teamwork is essential” and “you can’t always take everything on your own” and blah blah blah… I don’t hate the team, I guess I just can’t shake the idea of having extra bodies to account for if shit hit the fan. I guess it’s a learning curve, joining a team. (And, I will say, Visi’s one-liners are corny as hell. I’m not the best at thinking of puns on the fly, though, so I’m not the best judge of those. 🤣)

The kinds of missions I like? Hmmmm… I love the high-stakes shit. Normally stopping something like a heist or a collapsing building would nauseate people with anxiety, but the adrenaline rush is so worth it. (Especially if it means I get to punch somebody, that’s also a positive) …Can ghosts still feel adrenaline? I think that’s a strictly alive people thing, actually. Hm.

How long have you been on the team for? For me, I think it’s been quite some time. A few months now? Feels like forever, already, but it also feels like I just joined yesterday. I guess these freaks’ll do that to you, lmao!

And what do you like most about being on land? Do you ever, like, miss the ocean? I’m not normally the curious type, but it’s not every day you friend up with a ghost siren so, yeah 😅

I would not mind telling you about the things I have done, though, it is one of the things I was arrested for. At least they attempted to arrest me.

I think Robert is patient in more ways than one. Maybe that’s what makes him such a good dispatcher. He has no problem telling us to hurry the fuck up to our calls (lmao!) but when it counts, he can slow down. That, and also maybe he really likes and values you and takes the time to make sure you’re all well and good. Yeah, that’s not half bad either.
