Currently watching: Not a lot of TV really. I did watch the first three episodes of Series W of QI XL on iPlayer yesterday. Other than that, my viewing consists mainly of a fair amount of random stuff on YouTube and reels on Instagram.

Currently reading: I’m trying to make the most of my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I’m reading pretty much any lesbian romance that catches my eye! Currently it’s a book set in Australia called Swept Up In You, by Rian Birch. I’m only 20% in, but so far, so good.

Last song: I’m not exactly sure which track, but it was something by Goldfrapp.

Last song sung aloud: Again, something by Goldfrapp. Possibly Strict Machine, because I was definitely belting that out in the shower 😄

Currently craving: The croissant on the table next to me that I can smell. A trip to Lidl this morning and a 4 for £2 offer was too good to resist. I will be scoffing one as soon as I finish this 😋

Coffee or tea: Coffee. I do like a good cup of tea, but only if it’s sweet, and the ol’ diabetes says no… I do drink herbal tea sometimes, but coffee is definitely the default.

Earbuds or headphones: Earbuds, and old fashioned wired ones at that. I don’t need another thing that needs charging!

Last place I went: To Lidl this morning. I do lead a wild and exotic lifestyle 😉

Favourite chip flavour: As the original category had the American spellings, I’m assuming it means crisps 😛 I’m a very boring bugger, and I prefer ready salted.

Colours that look good on you: I have no idea! I don’t particularly care what looks good as long as I’m warm enough and it keeps everything covered! I wear a lot of black, grey and dark blue.

I was briefly tempted to say I Touch Myself by the Divinyls 😆😏

How about Am I Right? by Erasure? Whole chunks of the Chorus album have been ear worms for me recently…

: ̗̀➛ wheres a place u always wanted to travel to: Once upon a time - America because I wanted to see Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon, but these days I don’t think I’d want to set foot on US soil. I’d love to see New Zealand and Australia. More realistically - I want to see more of Scotland. I’ve been a few times and I love the landscape.

I also still use Facebook, but I’m forever asking myself why! I have Twitter, but I think the only reason I haven’t deleted it is in case I get back to writing fic, as a few people seemed to appreciate me posting about new stuff.

: ̗̀➛ do u prefer tea or coffee: Definitely coffee. I do like ‘normal’ tea (aka black tea) but I can’t drink it anymore - I only like it if it’s quite sweet and the old diabetes says no. I do enjoy herbal and some fruit teas, but coffee beats them all.

The ‘old’ FF account exists literally to feed my addiction to reading Rizzles fic and I’ve never posted my stuff over there.

Smut has never been easy for me to write, and once writing in general became so much more difficult, I wasn’t going to add smut struggles into the mix!

Self indulgent fic… aren’t they all? For me at least, I only write what I want to read.

I circled yes for researching… by that I mean I tend to prefer to look up anything I’m unsure about rather than make a glaring error.

Formatting can be a real pain in the arse when AO3 doesn’t seem to want to cooperate!

Anxiously waits for feedback? Well DUH! I might write for myself, but I still want all the validation, dammit!

I used to get SO. MANY. IDEAS. in the middle of the night. And had to write them down because I would 100% have forgotten them by morning.
