No we don't support JKR in this house, we support people for who they are regardless of gender, race, orientation or religion. Except Severus Snape, you know what you did.. kidding...
I'd also like to not include homophobia/transphobia in the wizarding world.
I've read ATYD and while we don't need to follow the cannon of Remus being in a care home I would love to keep Chris and Grant as characters (and I lowkey ship them tbh). I've got two themes in particular I want to do that you can choose from- something super super fluffy (which we can add angst to ofc) and something super angsty and close to cannon. I’ve got 6 plots to choose from ranging from most fluffy to most cannon compliant
I want to start in the marauders first year. 1971 and go from there, all the way through the cannon series events!

Oh, also- Juniper, my oc is the biological child of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin! Her form will be at the end of this ad but, longstory short there was a friendly argument of which was worse-childbirth or getting kicked in the nads leading to Sirius and Remus talking about having kids, leading to the marauders (and Lilly) doing research to craft a spell that would give Sirius the correct anatomy for childrearing. The spell is undone shortly before James and Lilly and Harry go into hiding.
All plots can be adjusted or changed!

First plot
Super Fluffy- Remus isn't a care home yob, living in a loving home with either both parents or just his mum. First year is him making friends, second year could be the marauders getting close to his secret, third year is them finding out and going behind his back to learn to be animagi. Fourth year is when they become animagi and Sirius and Remus are not quite dating, not quite not. Fifth year- the incident, of course. 6th year. Remus not forgiving Sirius but making up with him all the same. Also the year Sirius gets officially disowned by his parents, moving in with James and his parents as a result. 7th year. Their last year of frivolity, before joining the order and taking missions. That's not to say they don't mess around sometimes and have fun- one of such events leading to Sirius and Remus being able to have a biological child who was born 6/24/1980.
Then, we have a fork in the road! (I’m most in the mood for plots 1, 2 or 6 currently!)
1-Lilly and James Potter both live. They leave Peter with Harry. Just ten minutes, it's fine, Petey! Honestly you worry too much, Remus is on a mission anyway. Its Halloween *and* Diwali, they just want to talk to someone other than each other or their son- it's been *ages* and they love each other and Harry very dearly but they need to talk to someone else. They leave for ten minutes. Ten minutes is all it takes. They come back and the front of their house is blown off, Harry's sobbing in his crib. Peter was not there. One thing was for certain- something terrible had happened. They'd misjudged Remus catastrophically. They'd underestimated little wormy and even more so- they hadn't been there to protect Harry. It's a miracle he lived and until they have a chat with Dumbledor and Aurors they'd have no clue just how lucky they were.
2-James or Lilly lives. Similar to the last one except they leave one at a time and trade places after ten minutes. Just in case something goes wrong. And it did go wrong. It went very wrong. The surviving parent comes back to a destroyed house, a crying infant and the realisation that theyd betrayed Remus's trust and as a result they had been betrayed by someone they loved and trusted dearly.
3-Wolfstar raises Harry. Sirius gets there before Hagrid and he takes Harry. Harry's his godson, it's his right to take him. Harry never lives in the cupboard under the stairs, never has to wear oversized clothes, never has to question if he's loved. He grows up happy.
4- Sirius goes to jail and Remus raises Juniper alone, or with Grant, potentially. He reaches out to Petunia and Juniper stays at the Dursleys for the week of the full moon nearly every month. Harry comes and goes as he pleases- whenever he needs a break and to know that he's loved.
5-The ministry tries to take Juniper and Remus hides her in a girls home. He gives her up to the very life he hated (assuming we do ATYD continuity for this) and he doesn't tell her. Not even in her third year. He tries not to tell her during the summer between fourth and fifth year but Sirius pieces it together- it's not like metamorphmagi are common at all. Junipers known since she was young. She has a knack for knowing things she shouldn't.
6- The worst timeline. Sirius goes to jail, Juniper is taken from him by the ministry who believe a werewolf can't be trusted to raise a child and is given to Walburga Black. Walburga changes Junipers name from Juniper Euphemia Lupin-Black to Jupiter Walburga Black. Jupiter is betrothed to Draco one month before Walburgas death. After that she lives with the Malfoys. Between fourth and fifth year Jupiter runs away. Her DADA teacher in third year- he was a werewolf. She did research on werewolf packs from the very middle of third year to the last day of fourth year. She runs away and finds a pack and risks death, choosing to get herself turned to get out of her awful life with the Malfoys. Shes never felt more free.
