honestly, i’m genuinely shocked. i remember her original piece so clearly, and seeing it copied like this is honestly heartbreaking. stealing someone’s art to generate ai content is such a cruel thing to do
please, if you can, block and report the account. our artists deserve so much better than having their work stolen and fed into ai to make soulless copies, so we must protect them. they’re the reason this fandom is as creative and beautiful as it is. if you haven’t already, go support @basietta by engaging with her original art and respecting her work
p.s. please don’t engage with accounts that use ai trained on other people’s work or profit from it. also be careful before accusing someone of using ai as well, since it’s becoming harder and harder to tell what’s real and what isn’t. it’s important to look into things before making claims
