With my birthday coming up this month, there is only one thing I can ask for…

My friend Ahmed has been struggling under the Israeli occupation of Gaza for nearly 2 years. At the moment, he is living in a tent on the streets. His sister and her children are in the North, where it is especially dangerous.

Ahmed needs money urgently to support his family, who are stuck in a known danger zone. The best way to support him at this time is to donate and to share his fundraising campaign.

Please donate to the PayPal, as there are no fees associated with it and the money will be made available to Ahmed immediately.

A GoFundMe is available, but it will add significant fees and it will take longer to reach Ahmed.

Hear me out

For more than two and a half years, you have stood by me through some of the hardest moments of my life. Your support, your words, and your kindness helped us keep going when we were close to breaking. Because of you, we were able to hold on, and I will never forget that.

But the truth is, our story is not over yet.

We have lost everything, our home, our source of income, and the stability we once had. It feels like we are not just starting from zero, but trying to rise from below it.

Now things are even harder with my father’s illness. He needs ongoing care and treatment, while we are facing a complete lack of income. Even covering our basic daily needs has become a real struggle.

We are doing everything we can to stay strong, but we cannot do it alone anymore.

I am not asking for much, just for you to stand by us as you always have. Any support, no matter how small, can make a real difference. It can help us cover my father’s treatment, provide our basic needs, and help us keep going.

My family is in urgent need of a caravan to shelter us and protect our children from the bitter cold, strong winds, and rain. The weather is extremely harsh, and the tent no longer provides even the minimum level of safety or stability. We are not seeking luxury, but a simple shelter that offers safety and preserves our dignity

I asked about the cost of a caravan, which is approximately $4,000. It may seem like a large amount for me alone, but it becomes possible when hope is shared. Any support, no matter how small, or even sharing this appeal, could make a real difference in my children’s lives.
