[ 🌃 ] — FISHING TRIP Following a small issue which had involved some rather frustrated humans watching an old Rash-Rye fish on ‘their land’, Mr Graves had decided to subtly assist in a collected way. For Einarr did not understand the human currency, nor had any money of his own to pay for a licence to fish, so Mr Graves kindly payed out of his own pocket for the old man. Einarr was very grateful for this, even if Mr Graves had been huffing and pinching the bridge of his nose all day in frustration, he seemed like a generous middle-aged Rye.
After all had been resolved, they’d caught fish by the riverside in thanks, and Mr. Graves had even pulled on some rather funny looking high-wellington boots to join in (after much convincing and also the addition of wearing a small life jacket, both of which Theseus had a good laugh at). Thus once the sun began to set, they were all quite hungry and ready to eat a few of the fish they’d captured using Einarr’s new licence. Mihriel voiced a gentle distaste in starting a fire within the woodlands, and Mr Graves agreed it was highly unsafe, too, so the final solution would be to use some alternative means of creating fire.
After a swig of whiskey, and a rubbing of his paws, a fire lit in the dusk of the forest clearing. This was by far the best way to home-cook fish.
